Savannah James surely knows that her life as the wife of one of the most celebrated players is not a cakewalk. There is constant spotlight on her and the immense pressure of her husband’s performance. During an interview on the Question Everything podcast, Savannah spoke about being married to a sports superstar and said that she tries to be as authentic as possible. In her words:
“If I could give any advice, I would just say to stay grounded and stay intentional with who you are, who your partner is, and how you guys got to be — to get to this point and just support each other through the evolution of it.”
In the same interaction, Savannah also revealed the reason behind her support for LeBron as she believed that the two were destined to be together. Speaking about the same, Savannah shared that when one is sure about their partner, then things work out magically. She also called her relationship and life with James very "normal," even though it seems almost supernatural to the public.

James and Savannah met in 2002 at high school, as he played basketball and she was a cheerleader from the rival school. LeBron invited her to one of his games, and she accepted. Soon they fell in love and started dating. In 2004, Savannah discovered that she was pregnant with their first child, Bronny.
LeBron had just entered the NBA, and Savannah was scared of the pregnancy. However, the NBA star assured her, and they welcomed their elder son, Bronny Jr. Since then, the couple welcomed two more children, Bryce Maximus in 2007 and their daughter, Zhuri, in 2014.
In 2011, the duo got engaged and married in 2013. There have been several rumors about the couple’s divorce lately. Over the years, James’ name has been linked with many women. In 2012, Carmen Ortega said that she had a brief relationship with LeBron. She also shared messages that she claimed were between them. However, LeBron James did not accept this claim. His side denied the story and suggested that it was not true.
Similarly, Meagan Good’s name also came up again in different reports, but there has never been any confirmation from her or LeBron. In late 2025 and early 2026, reports indicated that LeBron and Savannah were facing issues in their marriage. In an interview, he even said their marriage is ‘never picture perfect’ and revealed that he has had to "fight, crawl, scratch" to maintain it. Despite all the speculations, the couple has been together for more than two decades.
