It was on May 2, 2026, when Samantha Busch shared an emotional note about her husband. She shared a series of photos to wish him on his birthday. The carousel featured Kyle and Samantha's love-filled moments, their family moments and the NASCAR legend's top-notch quality time with his kids.

Sharing the post, Samantha penned a long note, wherein she revealed that Kyle was an incredible husband and father, and that she's just grateful that she gets to do this crazy life, being just by his side. She further expressed her gratitude for the love and laughter Kyle brought into their family. This post is now going viral on social media amid Kyle's passing, leaving his fans even more heartbroken. Samantha's note could be read as:

"Happy birthday Kyle! You are the most incredible husband and father, and I thank God every single day that I get to do our crazy life by your side. We are so grateful for you and all the love, strength, and laughter you bring to our family. Wishing you the happiest birthday and your best year yet."

Samantha Busch and Kyle Busch's love story

It was not love at first sight for Samantha and Kyle Busch. The duo met at the tracks when she was working with some PR arranging rides with the drivers. Samantha was 21 years old and was studying psychology at Purdue University at that time. During their first meeting, Samantha asked Kyle to join her and Amy (someone from the PR team) at the bars, and he denied. Days later, Kyle asked Amy for Samantha's phone number. She felt sceptical about the same and was a bit scared, since she asked him to join her at the bar.

However, she gave the number, and they started talking. She shared that she was a bit sceptical too, but after they went on a date after four months of talking, she was in awe of Kyle, and his amazing personality and kindness. Samantha and Kyle fell head over heels in love with each other. It was in December 2010 that the couple got married. Five years after their wedding, the couple welcomed their son, Brexton.

Reportedly, they were facing some issues while naturally conceiving their child, and she had to undertake an IVF journey. Well, it was a few years later, after the birth of their son, that the couple was planning for another baby, and it was in 2018, when Samantha faced a miscarriage. The duo was navigating several challenges in their personal life, and according to her, Kyle, who felt to her like a support system, was no longer in that place, and she felt that divorce was real, and it was scary.

On the other hand, Samantha also revealed that she was feeling overwhelmed, and the tiniest things would make her lose it, and she and Kyle would fight a lot for no reason at all. In 2018, when Samantha faced a miscarriage, there was a crack between the couple, as she would want to talk about it on a daily basis, while he would want to move on from the same. However, after the birth of their daughter, the relationship between them healed.
