It has been two days since NASCAR legend, Kyle Busch suddenly passed away at the age of 41. But fans have been finding it difficult to believe, especially after he won what has now become his final race just a few days ago. Meanwhile, an emotional moment occurred at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Visuals of Kyle's race car being quietly unloaded surfaced online. In turn, it has left his fans and the racing community heartbroken. At the same time, Kyle Busch's family confirmed his cause of death in an emotional statement.
A heartbreaking incident occurred on May 23, 2026, at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. According to the video shared by NASCAR and Kyle's Richard Childress Racing team, his Chevrolet race car was silently unloaded. The incident occurred just before the Coca-Cola 600 weekend, where Kyle was supposed to participate. But instead of noise and celebration, the garage area was silent as a mark of respect for the race driver.

In fact, fans also noted visible changes to his car itself. Kyle Busch's iconic No.8 was quietly removed. Instead, the vehicle now carried No. 33. However, a small No.8 decal stayed near the door of the Chevrolet as a special tribute to him. Later, NASCAR confirmed that Richard Childress Racing has decided to retire Kyle's No.8 "for the foreseeable future." Some reports also suggest that the number will now be reserved for Kyle's 11-year-old son, Brexton, if Brexton decides to enter NASCAR professionally one day.

Meanwhile, fans across social media were left emotional after they watched Kyle's car being unloaded in silence. Some even recalled the tragic death of seven-time NASCAR champion, Dale Earnhardt Sr in 2001 during a race. A few fans also pointed out that watching Kyle's car arrive without him behind the wheel made the loss feel more real. One fan penned, "Rest in peace, Rowdy. I was not always a fan, but you were legit one of the best to ever do it." Another user wrote, "This feels like 2001 Rockingham all over again."

She often shared glimpses of their family life on her social media handle, and Kyle appreciated his son, Brexton's, growing interest in racing. In fact, their son had already begun competing in junior dirt-track races, following in his father's footsteps.
