After a series of speculations of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan expecting their second baby, came an official statement from the couple about the same. Yes, Taimur Ali Khan is soon going to be a big brother and he will have some responsibilities on him. And the news of Tim’s younger sibling on-the-way is accepted and welcomed by the Kapoor-Khan family, friends and fans wholeheartedly. Kareena Kapoor Khan's nanad and Saif Ali Khan's sister, Soha Ali Khan, was so elated with the news that she had immediately congratulated her bhai-bhabhi with funny post. Soha had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture of Saif Ali Khan with ‘THE QUADFATHER’ written atop the picture. She had then congratulated the couple in her caption. Her caption could be read as "Couldn't resist! Congratulations @kareenakapoorkhan be safe and healthy - and radiant as ever!" Saif’s first son, Ibrahim Ali Khan had also commented on his bua’s post as “Abba” followed by a fire emoticon.
As the family is extremely happy with the good news, Soha Ali Khan’s hubby, Kunal Kemmu, who will become a phupha ji again, is also on cloud nine with happiness. In a conversation with ETimes, Kunal Kemmu expressed his happiness and how Taimur and Inaaya will have a new member in their gang. Kunal said, “It is a lot of happiness and a lot of excitement. Can’t wait to welcome this new member in the family. Taimur and Inaaya get along so well and they now have a new member in their gang.”
Like other family members, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s father, Randhir Kapoor is also extremely happy with the news of becoming a nanu again. Earlier he had reacted on the conjectures in an interview with The Times of India, and had said, "I hope it's true and if so, I would be very happy. Do bachche toh hone chahiye to give each other company." Now, in a conversation with ET Times, the elated grandfather expressed his happiness and said, "I am absolutely delighted, I have been telling Kareena for so long that Taimur needs a brother or sister to play with. We are all very happy and we pray, it's a healthy, happy child."
Kareena's cousin and Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also congratulated her sister, Bebo for being pregnant with baby number 2 on her IG stories. Riddhima shared a throwback picture of their family get together, wherein, Kareena, Riddhima, Armaan and Aadar Jain can be sitting together and posing for the selfie. She captioned the picture as "Congratulations Bebo and Saif @kareenakapoorkhan."
Earlier in an interview with the Bombay Times, Soha had opened up on Inaaya's love for Taimur and how she tries to do everything which her brother does. She had shared, "Inaaya listens to Taimur a lot, she tries to copy whatever he does and wants to be faster than him. As they say, when you have an older sibling, you try and learn faster." She had further opened up on their family get-together and had said, "We want Taimur and Inaaya to spend time with each other, they have to interact with kids their age. Inaaya is two-and-a-half years old and Taimur is just nine months older than her. Under normal circumstances, they would have been going to school and learning from their classmates. But, since that’s not possible, we decided to have a family reunion and luckily, we all stay close by.." In an interview with the IANS, Soha had shared a funny anecdote and had said, "Now, both are too small and innocent kids. Sometimes they play with each other and sometimes they don't give attention to each other, but I have seen that Taimur is very caring. Once Inaaya pulled Taimur's hair thrice, but he didn't say anything to her. I think somewhere he knows that this is family, so he tolerates her and they are learning from each other."
