For instance, on October 13, 2022, Kriti had taken to her IG handle and shared an adorable birthday wish for her mumma, Geeta Sanon. Sharing a video montage of their unseen pictures, Kriti had penned:

In an interview with E-Times, Kriti Sanon opened up about her mother, Geeta Sanon and revealed how her mother used to motivate her for doing productive work in life. She even revealed that she cried when her mom encouraged her. Moreover, the Heropanti actress shared an incident when her mother praised her and said, "You are a good daughter and you are doing good in life." Talking about the same, she mentioned:
"I never cried on receiving an award but I cried when my mother encouraged me."

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, an engineer turned actress, Kriti Sanon had revealed why her mother didn't allow her to do Lust Stories opposite Vicky Kaushal. Talking about the same, she said that according to her mother, Geeta Sanon, it was not a full-fledged film but a 20-minutes act only about female orgasms. In her words:
"I think her problem was more that it was a short film. I don't think there's anything wrong, but how it will be made, how it will look, maybe like Karan said, if he had talked to my mother, it would have been alright."
