From a “Hello, how are you doing?” kind of a first meeting, Kratika and Nikitin never thought that they would up creating their own love chronicle. Well, Kratika was shooting for the movie, My Father GodFather with Nikitin’s father, Pankaj Dheer, and often visited his house. That was the time when love brewed between them and finally, on September 3, 2014, the couple had entered the married club. Yesterday (September 3, 2019), Nikitin and Kratika celebrated five years into their blissful wedded life and wished each other on social media.
Nikitin kept it pretty simple and took to his Insta stories to share a series of pictures with his ladylove and atop one, he wrote, “#HAPPY5THTOUS". On the other hand, Kratika shared a love-filled post for her prince charming on completing 5 years of togetherness in the marital bliss. Kratika shared a lovely couple picture at the backdrop of setting sun, captioning it as, “Yeyyy Happy 5 to Us baby. I pray to God that we continue to cherish and enjoy all the simple pleasures of our lives and have a wonderful life together. 5 years down, forever to go. On and off, Kratika and Nikitin keep indulging in social media PDAs. For instance, a few days ago, on August 15, 2019, Kratika had shared a lovey post, flaunting her traditional outfit. She captioned her post as, “Dressed to impress my brothers this time. Thankyou @reemathakurofficial for this beautiful outfit.” On this post, Nikitin had dropped a comment and stole not only her but everyone’s heart. He had written, “In a world obsessed with anorexia and fake lips fake cheeks fake smiles etc. I am proud and lucky to have you. 100% real. Even prior this in April 2019, Nikitin had turned into a poet for his ladylove, Kratika. He had shared their throwback picture from the reception ceremony, and had penned along with it, “Tum aur main. do os ki boond jaise, zindagi ke safar mein mile, na jaane kab aur kaise, alag behte behte saath chalne lage. Ek hue, pani ban gae sagar mein mil gae. Haan Kratu, tum aur main ek ho gae.”
Just like most of the fans and media’s favourite celebrities, rumours around Kratika’s pregnancy too had buzzed all over in 2018. At that time, Kratika was playing the protagonist in Colors TV’s Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and reports had suggested that she was quitting the show because of her pregnancy. Soon after, she had dismissed all those baseless rumours and was quoted as saying, "I just returned from a scuba diving trip. Had I been pregnant, my doctor would not have allowed it. Rumours of the show going off-air and me quitting it has been doing the rounds for many months. As of now, I am not leaving it." On the similar lines, a source had then revealed to the Bombay Times, “Kasam is economically viable for the producers. Also, it recently got a year’s extension. Kratika is not pregnant, but she is not planning to renew her contract. She feels that the role is getting monotonous and she wants to try new things.”
Talking about Nikitin once, Kratika was all-praises about her then-boyfriend. She had said, “Nikitin is a pure soul. The transparency is very visible in him. I always wanted a family like Nikitin's family and I am blessed to have him in my life. I am too excited. Punar Vivah ke baad ab sach mein mera pehla vivah hoga.”
Do you know Nikitin doesn’t like Kratika’s intimate scenes on-screen? Kratika herself had once shared this information in an interaction with a leading entertainment portal. Kratika was then quoted as saying, "It's true that he doesn't like to see me getting intimate with another actor on screen. It is natural; after all, he is my husband. Another reason, which I feel is valid, is that he doesn't like to see me crying all the time. And with daily soaps, there is a lot of rona-dhona! In a marriage, we have to accommodate each other's views. I won't do anything that would hurt him."
