Renowned singer, Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK had left for his heavenly abode on May 31, 2022. For the unversed, it was during a live concert on Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha when he had started to feel uneasy. Afterwards, upon rushing to a hospital from his hotel, the singer had collapsed. And as he was rushed to CMRI hospital, he was declared brought dead. On the personal front, KK had got married to his childhood love, Jyothi Krishna, and together, they have two kids, Nakul Krishna and Taamara Kunnath.
On June 2, 2022, KK’s daughter, Taamara Kunnath had taken to her IG handle and had bared her heart out while expressing her love for her father. She had posted a funeral card of KK on her IG stories and had written an emotional note along with a heart emoticon. As Taamara was quite numbed by the shocking and unfortunate incident, she had just penned a heartfelt line, which could be read as:
“Love you forever dad”

On June 19, 2022, the entire nation celebrated Father's Day, and the late singer, KK's daughter, Taamara also wished her dad on the occasion. To mark the day, the doting daughter took a trip down the memory lane and shared a series of throwback pictures with her daddy dearest. The pictures were too beautiful for words, and it speak volumes about the precious bond Taamara had shared with her late father, KK. The beautiful pictures brought back thousands of memories, and we can't even imagine the pain that Taamara is going through. Along with the throwback pictures, KK's daughter penned an emotional note remembering him on Father’s Day. Her note can be read as:
“I would take the pain of losing you a 100 times, if it meant having you as my dad even for one second. Life is dark without you dad. You were the cutest most loving dad, who’d come home after a gig and wait to come lie down and give us cuddles. I miss you, I miss eating with you, I miss our laughing sessions, I miss our secret snacking rituals in the kitchen, I miss our farting competitions, I miss showing you my music and little voice note ideas, I miss your reaction dad. I miss holding your hand."

Further in her note, the doting daughter, Taamara expressed her grief as she missed her dad on the special day. She shared that her father's unconditional love has made her stronger and added that she, her brother, Nakul, and their mother are going to make him feel proud. Expressing her desire to be with her dad, Taamara added:
"You made us feel so safe and happy and loved and lucky. You were the realness this world needed, and now that you’re gone, none of it feels real. But your unconditional love, has unknowingly prepared us to handle, even something like this. Your love is our strength. Me, Nakul and mumma are gonna work everyday to make you proud, and spread your energy, and we’re gonna be strong and take care of each other like you did. Happy Father’s Day to the bestestest dad in the whole universe. Love you forever miss you everyday, umma, I know you’re here with us."

KK's untimely demise had left the entire nation heartbroken. However, it was his kids, Taamara and Nakul, who were inconsolable after losing their pillar of strength. On June 2, 2022, KK was cremated at Versova Hindu Cemetery, and it was his son, Nakul Krishna Kunnath, who had performed the last rites. Nakul had lit his father's pyre, and soon after this, he had broken down into tears. The heart-wrenching moment had made everyone present over there, emotional.
