Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a lavish event to celebrate their youngest son, Anant Ambani, and his fiancee, Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities. They hosted a three-day-long program in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which was attended by celebrities from around the world. But there were also a few eminent celebrities in Bollywood, who were absent from the events, among them one was the ace filmmaker-producer, Karan Johar. Now, he dropped a lovely wish for the couple.
Taking to his IG handle, Karan Johar dropped a heart-melting video featuring Radhika Merchant's surreal entry to the stage on which her fiance, Anant Ambani was seen standing. The video was shot from the final leg of the pre-wedding ceremonies, i.e., the Hastakshar program. Dressed in a Tarun Tahiliani ensemble, Radhika looked mesmerising and easily swooned the hearts of her millions of fans. The moment left Mukesh Ambani teary-eyed while everyone in the attendees was brimming with joy.

Anant was also seen hugging and giving a sweet peck of love on Radhika's forehead. Sharing the video, KJo penned a lovely note to wish the to-be-married couple on their union. Moreover, he extended his deepest love towards Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. He wrote:
"Heartiest congratulations to Anant and @radhikamerchant! The celebrations were not only deeply immersed in warmth, family bonds and immense love but so beautifully resonant of our glorious Indian traditions...The pre wedding festivities are a testament to the love the family has in everyone’s hearts! At Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extravagant pre-wedding bash, people from different walks of life were invited, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan along with their sons, Shahid Kapoor and his family, Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Paula Hurd, Ivanka Trump and her family, and many others. However, people couldn't stop pointing out how many other eminent celebrities were absent from the festivities. The list included Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Rekha, Hrithik Roshan and his family, the Deols and many others.

While the celebrations were happening in Jamnagar, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, was asked about her daughter's absence in the festivities. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Madhu expressed her joy that Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremonies were taking place in Jamnagar and that she could finally attend them. Afterwards, revealing why Priyanka could not make it to the celebrations, Madhu said:
“She will make up for it, don’t worry.”
