Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt are the perfect examples of couple goals. This lovely couple has proved that if there is love, nothing else matters. They are together for almost a decade now and are still an inspiration to the millennials. Suyyash and Kishwer had once thought that their eight-years age gap would be a hurdle in their relationship. They had even thought of ending the relationship but then, they were never able to leave each other. With every passing day, their love has only grown stronger.

Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt are in the happiest phase of their lives as they are expecting their first baby after four years of marital bliss. It was on March 2, 2021, when Kishwer and Suyyash had announced their ‘good news’. They had posted a romantic picture from the beach, in which he could be seen sitting on his knees, holding his wife as she had caressed her baby bump. With 'August 2021' engraved on the sand, Kishwer had captioned the picture as "You can now stop asking, 'When are you guys gonna have a baby?' Coming soon ... #august2021 #sukishkababy", and Suyyash had written, "Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun, Kishwer! Coming this August."
On March 24, 2021, Suyyash turned a year older and Kishwer penned an adorable wish for him. She took to her IG stories and shared a picture with him, revealing how much she misses being with him on his birthday. She wrote, “Happiest birthday to you my joker, I miss your face, your stupid jokes, your pagalpan. Tried my best to surprise you by coming there but I guess I have to be careful and take great care so gotta sit at home, come soon… we are waiting” atop the picture. Suyyash reposted Kishwer’s story and wrote, “I miss you! I love you… Seeing you guys soonest mommy” followed by heart emotions atop it.
A few days back, Kishwer Merchantt had taken to her IG handle and had shared a throwback video of the time when she got to know about her pregnancy. In the video, which was taken in Maldives in January 2021, Kishwer was seen caressing her baby bump and the happiness on her face was unmissable. Along with the picture, Kishwer had written, “Kahan hai tu, Mere pethu mien hai na #sukishkababy @suyyashrai. Throwback to Maldives in January 2021.”
In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Suyyash and Kishwer had revealed that the pregnancy had come as a shocker to them. The mommy-to-be said, "It's amazing, I just can't describe it in words. I mean, after all, it's my first baby! I am super nervous too as it's my first time and I don't really know what to do. But thankfully we have our family, friends who have kids to guide us better. So I am sure it will be sorted." The daddy-to-be had chipped in, "It's a beautiful feeling, I can't express in words. I mean I am super nervous and tensed too but moreover, it's a fabulous feeling."

On March 13, 2021, Kishwer Merchantt had taken to her IG stories and had shared a cute picture of a baby. It was a childhood picture of her hubby, Suyyash Rai, sitting happily in his nani maa’s lap. Along with the picture, Kishwer had expressed her desire to have her baby to look exactly like Suyyash and had written, “Baby aisa baby chahiye” atop it.
Suyyash is a doting husband, and he knows how to keep his wife happy. In an interview with TellyChakkar.com, Suyyash had opened up on keeping the love alive in a relationship and had shared, "You need to give each other time. Recently I was shooting non-stop for my upcoming Punjabi film (Love You Soniyo) but made it a point to try to spend at least five minutes with her. Sometimes she would stay back as well. Normally we keep in constant touch through phone calls or messages. We also believe that the best way to keep the spark going is to do problem-solving rather fight with each other. If you don't take extra efforts to salvage your relationship, it just goes to show that you really don't care."
