This time it is Dahleez fame, Kiran Srinivas, who got engaged with his longtime sweetheart, Hitha Chandrashekar. On May 1, 2019, the couple exchanged rings in an intimate ceremony in Bengaluru. While Kiran is a popular name in the telly town, Hitha is a renowned actress from Kannada film industry. Their love story had a perfect filmy tadka as they met each other during the filming of Onthara Bannagalu and fell for each other.
Kiran took to his Instagram handle to share the picture of his engagement night with Hitha, and captioned the picture as, “C-day done ...D-day coming up... Thank you one and all for all the wishes”. The bride-to-be Hitha posted the same picture on her Instagram account, and wrote, “And we’re engaged! Very grateful to our family and friends who have stood by us and made this milestone a super sweet one! Thank you all for your numerous wishes and love. The couple gave us goals with their coordinated ensembles. While Kiran looked dapper in a lush green kurta with contrasting pyajama, Hitha looked gorgeous in a traditional kanjeevaram lehenga saree. She accentuated her look with gold jewellery and hair tied in a braid. She radiated goals for 2019 brides looking to experiment with their sarees. In an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Hitha and Kiran had shared details of their love story, and had said, “They too were co-stars and friends who were compatible and decided to get married. Kiran and I had friendzoned each other subconsciously and didn’t want to ruin our relationship. It was just a random thought that actually turned out to be what it is today.”
Karan had also shared, “We would meet every time I came to Bengaluru and I’d ask her if she found any guy since her folks were asking her to get married. We met on her birthday and I casually told her that things would be easier if she moved to Mumbai. She then said — ask me and I’ll move to Mumbai and she put the ball in my court. I didn’t even realise I’d popped the question! And then I told her that we’ll get married before her birthday in 2019.”
He had further stated, “As time passed, I realised that Hitha could be the perfect partner-in-crime. Even though I’ve dated previously, I never got the ‘this is the person I can lead my life with’ feeling.
