Fashion Goddess and American reality TV star, Kim Kardashian and American rapper, Kanye West had begun dating in 2012. The American rapper had proposed to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, using the giant screen at the empty waterfront ballpark of the San Francisco Giants. The couple had welcomed their first child, North "Nori" West in June 2013, and had exchanged wedding vows on May 24, 2014, in a ceremony at a Renaissance fortress in Florence, Italy. Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. (Recommended Read: Saba Ali Khan's Throwback Memories With Sharmila Tagore And Soha Ali Khan Are All About Family Love)
According to the sources of HollywoodLife, Kanye West might be in denial over his divorce. Kanye West hasn't filed a response to Kim's application because he still 'doesn't accept that Kim will see the divorce through to completion', as quoted by HL. The source further added that 'he knows how Kim is and he knows that she does not want to do this.'
HollywoodLife reports that Kanye West 'doesn't believe' that Kim is serious about the divorce. The source was quoted as saying, "He's doing fine, though, despite everything. He really doesn't believe that Kim is actually going to end their marriage. Kanye sees this as a move in a chess game which is why he hasn't reacted or done anything. He seems to have no plans of filing a response anytime soon, either. Her whole family is stunned."
For the uninitiated, after the divorce filing, Kim Kardashian is staying at their home in Calabasas, with their four kids, including daughters North (7), Chicago (3), and sons, Saint (5), Psalm (1). Her estranged husband, Kanye is at his Wyoming ranch. Kanye had moved several things out of their home, including his 500 pairs of sneakers, some days before the filing, which had allegedly hinted that he didn't plan on returning.
Some days ago, in an episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia, Kim Kardashian's mother, Chris Jenner had spoken about Kim and Kanye's divorce for the first time. She had said, "Well, I think it's always going to be hard anytime… there's a lot of kids, and Kim and Kanye. The good thing about our family is, you know, we're there for each and we're supportive, and we love each other very, very much. So all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids [North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1,] to be happy, so that's the goal." Stressing on the much-needed privacy over the whole situation, Chris Jenner had continued, "I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have — the love and appreciation of one another…and that everyone’s OK. But I think it’s just a private time – Kim wanted to deal with this with her own family in her own time, so when she feels like it I’m sure she’ll say what she needs to say."
Fans are much eager to know what went wrong in Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's close to seven years of marriage. According to the documents obtained by thesun.co.uk, 'irreconcilable differences' were cited as the reason behind their separation in the divorce papers. As per the reports, Kim had filed for the divorce and Kanye is mentioned as the respondent. The divorce papers also revealed that Kim has applied for their four children's physical custody and requested that both her and Kanye's ability to award spousal support to be terminated.
