The Kolkata International Film Festival hosted its 28th edition at the City Of Joy on December 15, 2022. And as always, the event saw a star-studded gathering of some of Bollywood's eminent celebs, including Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Shatrughan Sinha, Mahesh Bhatt and Arijit Singh amongst others.
While all of their presence instantly stirred the media, it was the presence of Amitabh, Jaya, Rani and Shah Rukh that made fans become nostalgic about the iconic film, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, since each of these actors played a pivotal role in it. Some even called it a reunion party for the K3G cast.

Soon enough, a video made its rounds on the internet, where both Shah Rukh and Rani arrived on the stage and immediately touched the feet of both Amitabh and Jaya. This gesture by both the actors was immediately received with joy, as their fans could not stop complementing their traditional gestures for their seniors.

Furthermore, we could also spot SRK and Rani sitting beside one another as they talked fondly. At one point, Rani was also seen giving a peck of love to SRK on his hands as the duo graced the stage for the event. To this, the fans were immediately taken back to the nostalgia of the cult film, as they loved seeing ‘Naina’ and ‘Rahul’ back together.
