During the premiere episode of season 4 of the show, we get to know details about the rivalry between SKIMS founder, Kim Kardashian and Lemme founder, Kourtney Kardashian Barker.
The same episode also revealed details on why the supermodel, Kendall Jenner, is anxious about becoming a mother. She opened up to her half-sister, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner, Scott Disick about the same. Kendall said that her anxiety is the sole reason behind her reluctance to embrace motherhood anytime soon. However, the latest episode which aired on October 5, 2023, gave out details regarding Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan Thompson.

In the second episode of season 4 of The Kardashians, details regarding the cheating scandal involving Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are unveiled. For the unversed, the 39-year-old reality star and the 32-year-old NBA player were first spotted together in 2016. The former couple had an on-and-off relationship for years, with multiple breakups due to his infidelity. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are parents to daughter, True and son, Tatum. While Khloe gave birth to her daughter in 2018, on the other hand, she welcomed her son via surrogacy in 2022.
In late 2021, the duo ended their relationship once and for all. Their breakup happened after it was revealed to the public that Tristan had fathered a son with another woman named Maralee Nichols. Khloe discovered the truth about the paternity scandal just as she and Tristan's surrogate were expecting their son, Tatum. In the latest episode, Tristan opens up and says:
“I think going down this journey that I’ve been on right now, especially what happened to my mom, I always ask myself, ‘Why do certain things to hurt certain people?’ I think the thing that always sticks to my mind, it’s like, I know how much I care about you, I know how much I love you. You’re my best friend. I meet my person—how come I’ve done so much wrong things to them? Why put you through that?”

In a confessional, Khloe revealed that Tristan has referred to her as his ‘person’ before, but she has difficulty accepting it due to his past betrayals. She said:
“I’m not saying I don’t believe him but I’ve heard this and, of course, it’s angered me before. Because I’m like, ‘Well, if I f–king am, then why would you have treated me this way? And how many times? This isn’t like a one-time thing and here we are. I love, love and I am a hopeless romantic but that’s not going to change how I feel and what happened.”
Later on, Khloe Kardashian says that they need to remain amicable for their kids, True and Tatum. She mentioned that they need to set an example for them to follow. Khloe said:
“I mean, what happened between Tristan and I was not some small little incident, it was some massive situation that really was a very traumatic experience for me and my life, so I’m not going to forget it. But I’m so proud that I’m able to be kind and mature. And show my children that Mommy and Daddy can co-exist and be co-parents.”
