Ketan Agarwal Tattooed Killer Fiancee Siya's Name While She Allegedly Planned To 'Break His Limbs'

The 26-year-old businessman had allegedly planned to prove his commitment to his fiancée with a permanent gesture shortly before his death.

Ketan's grieving father, Vishal Agarwal, recently revealed that his son had Siya Goyal's name tattooed on his neck as a surprise birthday gift for her. The couple got engaged in February 2026 and were preparing for a November wedding in Jaipur. Three months later, Ketan died after allegedly being pushed off a cliff at Lohagarh fort near Pune.
According to Vishal Agarwal, the family had been excited about Siya joining their family and had been preparing for her birthday and the couple's upcoming wedding. He said Ketan had planned to celebrate Siya's birthday in Mahabaleshwar on June 19, 2026, a day after his death, and had her name tattooed on his neck as a surprise. The family had also reportedly gone to considerable lengths for the engagement. In a statement shared on ANI, Vishal said:
"When we went shopping for her engagement, we bought 28 dresses of her choice and 15 sets of gold jewellery for her."
Ketan's father recalled that there had been no obvious indication that anything was seriously wrong between his son and Siya. However, investigators have alleged that the relationship was very different behind the scenes. According to a 5,053-page chargesheet filed before the Vadgaon Maval Sessions Court, Siya and her accomplices had considered multiple plans before Ketan's death.
Siya had reportedly told people that she did not want to marry Ketan and was allegedly involved with Chetan Chaudhary. Police have also cited an alleged Snapchat conversation in which Siya reportedly referred to a wedding that "never" would happen.
Siya initially planned to break Ketan's bones; Chetan warned murder witness to remain silent
The chargesheet reportedly says the accused initially discussed taking Ketan to Bengaluru and "breaking his limbs" before deciding on a different plan. According to investigators, the idea was discussed with a friend in Bengaluru, who opposed it. Police allege that the group eventually turned to a plan that involved luring Ketan to Lohagad Fort.
Investigators have alleged that the accused watched crime films, listened to podcasts about avoiding detection, and used ChatGPT while planning the crime. Police further allege that a fake Instagram account was created using a photograph belonging to a woman known to the accused.
The account, reportedly created under the name 'Mahi,' allegedly contacted Ketan and helped lure him to Lohagad on June 18, 2026, under the impression that he was going there as part of a surprise birthday plan for Siya. The account was allegedly deleted after the incident.
The investigation also includes the statement of an eyewitness who allegedly saw Ketan being pushed from Lohagad Fort. According to police, the witness was visiting the fort with a friend's family and saw Ketan and Siya walking together, with Chaudhary following them. The witness later allegedly saw an altercation near the cliff and told investigators that Ketan was pushed into the gorge. Police also allege that Chaudhary subsequently threatened the witness and warned him to remain silent.
Ketan's death was initially treated as an accidental fall at Lohagad Fort. Investigators now allege that the death was part of a premeditated murder conspiracy involving Siya, her alleged partner Chetan Chaudhary, and their associate Ritesh Hange. All three have been arrested and are currently lodged in Yerwada Jail as the investigation continues.
