Siya's Lover Chetan Reveals She Didn't Run With Him As Would Bring Family Dishonour, So Killed Ketan

A fresh new detail has now come out in the chilling Pune Lohagad murder case of Ketan Agarwal. Well, Siya Goyal, a 20-year-old aspiring baker and a Commerce student, with her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, took the life of Ketan Agarwal. Well, now Siya's lover, Chetan, has revealed chilling new details about why Siya did not run with him when the time came. Why did she get engaged to Ketan Agarwal and kill him when she had the option of eloping with Chetan?

Siya Goyal's alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, revealed to the cops according to social media reports behind killing her fiance, Ketan Agarwal. Chetan stated that Siya had feared that she would bring shame to her family if she had called off the engagement. Cops stated that this was the main concern behind the alleged murder of 26-year-old Ketan. 

Siya Goyal had earlier planned to run away with Chetan Chaudhary

Chetan Chaudhary further mentioned that Siya had earlier decided to elope with him. However, she was then against the idea as it would bring a lot of shame to her family. Well, when Chetan was interrogated, he was questioned if he had discussed running away with Siya. It was in February 2026 that Ketan Agarwal got engaged to Siya Goyal. The family of the duo was planning for a big fat wedding in Rajasthan in November 2026. However, Siya showed her true colours when a trip with Ketan to Lohagad Fort on June 18, 2026, took away his life. Siya had called and informed Ketan's family that he had slipped during a trek after he fell from the fort. Police sources revealed during the investigation that:

"During the interrogation, Chetan was asked why they did not consider running away and instead chose to eliminate Ketan. According to him, Siya was not in favour of calling off the engagement and eloping with Chetan, as she thought doing so would bring disrespect to her family."

Ketan Agarwal's death was initially treated like an accident

Ketan's death was first seen as an accident, but when investigators saw new evidence, they were forced to take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding Ketan's demise. Well, according to the cops, the investigation changed its course of direction after officers had reviewed the CCTV clippings from the ticket counter located at Lohagad Fort. The clipping had showcased Chetan wearing a hoodie and following Siya and Ketan's vehicle. The police official further added:

"The man was wearing shorts and a hoodie. The front part of the hoodie was pulled so low that his face could not be seen. Additionally, the man was wearing a headset over the hoodie. In another footage clip, we noticed Siya suddenly looking back and, at the same time, the man in the hoodie suddenly sitting down."

Cops were puzzled to see Chetan Chaudhary wearing a hoodie in the sweltering heat of Pune

The cops had later examined the weather conditions in Pune on June 18, 2026 and saw that the temperature was around 33 degrees Celsius. The cops questioned why a person in the heat would wear a hoodie, especially in such warm conditions. Well, when further inquiries related to the same were done, the man in a hoodie was identified as Chetan Chaudhary. Well, the investigators of the Ketan Agarwal murder case stated that the CCTV clippings and evidence related to Siya and Chetan's movements gave them a clue that the duo had planned the murder of the 26-year-old businessman. At the moment, both the young accused, Siya and Chetan, have been arrested.
