Ketan Agarwal Murder Case, Actor Hina Khan Says Siya Goyal Could Have Spared Him 'Bas Ek Sach Bolke'

The Lohagad Fort case took a turn that no one had initially seen coming. For those unaware, many believed that the 25-year-old Ketan Vishal Agarwal had passed away after being involved in a tragic trekking accident. However, the police later revealed that it was actually a premeditated murder. Ketan, who was the heir of his family's real estate business in Maharashtra's Pune, had allegedly survived a murder attempt by his fiancée just days before the Lohagad Fort incident, where he was pushed to death on June 18, 2026. With the murder case sending shockwaves across the nation, actress, Hina Khan reacted to the news by saying that the accused could have spared his life. 

What did actress, Hina Khan say about Ketan Agarwal's murder case?

Owing to the gruesome nature in which Ketan Agarwal was killed and with the news grabbing all the headlines, actress, Hina Khan could not help but react to the case. A while ago, she took to her social media to express her shock, noting how telling the truth has become so difficult these days that people are even ready to take another person's life. According to her, Ketan's fiancée, Siya Goyal, could have easily spared him by saying just one true thing. Hima wrote on her Instagram Stories:

“Aaj ke time mai sach sunna aur sach kehna itna mushkil ho gaya hai ki log kisi ki jaan lene ko bhi taiyaar hain. It seems it is easier to take someone's life than to accept the truth. You could have spared him, bas ek sach bolke and lived your life with any XYZ. Whyyyy?? Afsos. #Ketanmurdercase.”

About the investigation into Ketan Agarwal's murder

The Ketan Agarwal case was initially registered as an accidental death; however, things took a dramatic turn when police arrested Ketan's fiancée, Siya Goyal and her friend, Chetan Chaudhury, on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. According to Ketan's family, Siya had previously displayed a few red flags in the days leading up to the murder, including an earlier push to Lohagad itself. At the time, Siya claimed that she was actually trying to save Ketan from a snake. 

As the investigation continued, it quickly became clear that Siya Goyal had actually been in a relationship with Cheatan for more than a year. Reportedly, the search had led police to a suspicious figure, a man wearing a hoodie despite the hot weather, who was captured near the foothills of Lohagad. Revealing the same, Dinesh Tayade of Lonavala Rural Police said:

"When we checked the June 18 temperature, it was 33 degrees Celsius that morning. During scrutiny of CCTV footage from the foothills, we noticed a person wearing a hoodie with his head covered and also wearing headphones. This raised suspicion because such clothing was unusual, considering the weather conditions.” 

The person in question was later identified as Chetan, who, according to the police, was also involved in the murder conspiracy. Investigators found that Chetan had allegedly tried to avoid being found out by leaving his mobile phone in his residence in Kondhawa instead of carrying it to Lohagad, where Ketan was murdered. 

Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goyal's relationship 

Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goyal got engaged in February 2026. Although it was an arranged match, the duo seemed like they were madly in love with each other. They were all set to get married in a luxurious palace in Udaipur before which, in the first week of June 2026, Ketan and Siya had plans to go to Bali for their pre-wedding shoot. However, once they reached Mumbai airport, they came to know that Ketan's passport had gone missing, prompting them to return home. It was only during the investigation that the truth came to light about how it was Siya herself who intentionally hid Ketan's passport to avoid going to Bali.
