Though the duo parted ways long back, their fans often dig out old videos and interviews for a trip down memory lane. Once again, the duo grabbed headlines as an old article about the actress went viral on social media.
On May 5, 2023, a Reddit user shared an old news article about Katrina Kaif which was published in Mumbai Mirror in 2007. The article made some shocking revelations and mentioned how Katrina Kaif took advantage of her protective boyfriend, Salman Khan, back then. In the article, one of the staff members from Katrina's film sets mentioned how the actress used to drag Salman whenever she felt upset about something or felt that she was not treated well on the sets.

In the article, a spot boy from the film sets revealed that everyone was scared of Katrina Kaif as they feared that if they upset her, she would pick up her phone and complain to Salman Khan. Narrating an incident from the sets, an insider was quoted as saying that once Katrina got irked by a designer as he brought an ill-fitted dress for her. However, when the designer defended himself by saying that Kat gained some extra weight in the past few days, she turned into a crybaby and called Salman. Soon after, the doting boyfriend reached to the sets and gave an earful to the designer.
As soon as the news article was shared on Reddit, netizens were quick to react to the same. Slamming Katrina Kaif for taking advantage of being Salman Khan's girlfriend back then, people called the actress a bully. Meanwhile, a section of netizens pointed out some of the mean things that Katrina did while being Bhaijaan's girlfriend and mentioned how Salman's PR wiped the slate clean.
