After months of speculations, Bollywood fanatics saw one of the biggest weddings of the year, when the gorgeous Katrina Kaif got married to her soulmate, Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021. Looking like a match made-in-heaven, Katrina and Vicky had tied the knot at the lavish Six Senses Fort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
After a lot of waiting, when the newlyweds posted their first pictures, it was nothing less than a dream for their fans. More than their royal outfits, it was Vicky and Katrina happiness, which had made the pictures surreal. Sharing pictures on their respective social media handles from the biggest moment of their lives, the doting couple had written:
"Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."

A few minutes back, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal won everyone's hearts with their mesmerising haldi pictures. The two can be seen drenched in haldi as everyone showered them with flowers. While Katrina wore a white and gold outfit, Vicky opted for a white kurta. The happiness on their faces made us believe in the magic of love marriage. Sharing the pictures, both Vicky and Katrina wrote:
"Shukr. Sabr. Khushi."
For the wedding, Katrina looked absolutely stunning in a red lehenga by ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The classic lehenga in handwoven matka silk had fine tilla work and zardozi borders in velvet. Her veil was custom-trimmed with handmade kiran to pay homage to Vicky's Punjabi roots. Her lehenga was paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.
It was Katrina's wedding ring that had left our jaws dropped. Katrina had opted for a blue sapphire with the diamond-setting ring from the brand, Tiffany and Co. It is a classic wedding band ring in platinum. Its approximate cost is Rs. 7,40,708.

On the other hand, the groom, Vicky Kaushal, donned an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with silk kurta and churidar. The shawl was a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders. The gold Benarasi silk tissue safa was paired with a handcrafted kilangi and statement necklace studded in emeralds, brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, quartz and tourmalines in 18k gold from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.
In an interaction with BollywoodLife.com, a source close to the development had informed that for her wedding with Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif had borne 75 per cent of the expenses, including the travel costs of all the guests, security arrangements and other miscellaneous costs. The aide had even revealed that the wedding venue at the Six Senses Fort Barwara has been given to Katrina and Vicky free of cost as the proprietors were keen on the publicity that would flow from such a high-profile marriage for the years to come.
