Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa had met each other on the sets of Comedy Circus, wherein, she was one of the contestants, and he was a scriptwriter. While working together, they had felt a connection and had grown closer to each other. Later, Haarsh had proposed to Bharti, and after dating for a few years, they had taken the wedding vows in 2017. Now, after 4 years of married life, Bharti and Haarsh are all set to welcome their first child.
After speculations regarding their pregnancy, on December 10, 2021, Bharti had taken to her official YouTube channel and had shared a video, announcing her pregnancy. At the beginning of the video, Bharti was seen in her bathroom, and she was not able to believe the result of her self-pregnancy test kit. After which, she had tried waking her sleeping hubby, Haarsh. On waking up, Haarsh was super excited to hear the pregnancy news. Check out the video below:
In a WhatsApp conversation with ETimes TV, Bharti Singh happily shared that she is pregnant and also revealed her due date. As she was busy with her professional commitments, she said:
“Haan bhai haan, I’m pregnant. April or early May.”
As soon as Bharti and Haarsh had announced the ‘good news’, their friends, Jasmin Bhasin, Aly Goni, Punit J Pathak and his wife, Nidhi Mooney Singh had visited the soon-to-be-parents to celebrate the news with them. Jasmin had shared a picture of their celebration where Bharti was seen flaunting her baby bump with her friends. The picture had depicted the happiness on the soon-to-be parents' faces.
Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Bharti Singh were planning for a child for a long time. However, they had to always postpone their baby plans. In one of the episodes of Dance Deewane, a contestant, who had shown the real-life story of a young mother, who had lost her 14-day old baby to Coronavirus, had made everyone emotional, especially the host, Bharti Singh. She was planning to start a family in 2020 but had postponed the idea due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bharti had revealed the reason why she doesn’t feel like having a baby. Breaking down into tears, Bharti had said:
“We are planning a baby but after hearing about such cases, we don’t feel like starting a family. We are deliberately not talking about having a baby because I don’t want to cry like this.”
In an interview with TellyChakkar, talking about postponing her baby planning and her willingness to become a mother, Bharti had said:
"Well, I want to become a mother. In fact, Haarsh and I had planned to go family way in 2020. Socha toh tha ki 2020 mai 20-20 khel lu. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, I don’t wish to take any chance. I can’t plan a baby in such tension. I want my baby to come in a healthy environment. Right now, it is risky to even visit a hospital and once you get pregnant, you have to visit a doctor for regular check-ups. Might as well wait for another year than putting a small baby’s life at risk.”
Congratulations to Bharti and Haarsh!
