Kate Gosselin's Ex-Husband, Jon Cheated On Her With Kids' Nanny? Allegedly Made Out In A Hot Tub

Kate Gosselin is currently making headlines for her strained relations with her son, Collin Gosselin, who has been estranged for years. Recently, the family feud drama came under the spotlight once again, as Collin prepared to release his tell-all memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood. In late June 2026, his mother, Kate hit back at his allegations of abuse. Notably, Collin also accused her of cheating on his dad, Jon Gosselin, with her former bodyguard. It brought the past infidelity row of Jon with his kids' nanny back to the discussion. 

A nanny claimed Jon Gosselin got physically intimate with her while he was married to Kate Gosselin

A former nanny for the Gosselin family named Stephanie Santoro claimed in September 2009 that Jon Gosselin cheated on Kate Gosselin with her, within a month of her starting her babysitter job. At that time, Kate and Jon were estranged, but their divorce wasn't finalised yet. Stephanie detailed having a passionate, intimate affair with him, claiming to have shared a hot tub bath and a room. Talking about Stephanie Santoro, she was a 23-year-old former waitress and single mother when she made the explosive statements during an interview with Touch Weekly.

According to Stephanie, it all started when Jon asked her for a massage, and she did the same for him. After that, he allegedly made inappropriate advances towards her, asking if they could "kiss just once." She was not opposed to being part of his dirty little secret and went along with the kiss. Stephanie called Jon "very romantic" while sharing the alleged details of their affair. She also recalled him telling her that he would not be able to stop himself from falling for her if she felt something for him. She quoted him as saying:

"Whatever you do, don't fall in love with me, because it's going to be impossible for me not to fall in love with you."

After that, Jon and Stephanie made it to a hot tub; however, she was a little early wary, thinking that "one of the kids was going to pop their heads out", but he told her to relax as he went inside the house to check on the little ones. After making sure they were all fast asleep, Jon allegedly took Stephanie Santoro to the apartment over the garage and "continued what was going on in the hot tub." As per her, Jon "fell asleep afterward." Notably, it was not the first time Jon was linked up with a woman while being married to Kate Gosselin; the infidelity buzz persisted for a long time and with multiple women.

Years after Jon accused Kate of cheating on him with her former bodyguard, Steve Neild, their son, Collin Gosselin alleged that his father's claims are true. In late June 2026, Collin appeared on an episode of the Strange McKnights podcast, where he dropped explosive information about years of feuding in his family, particularly with his mom, Kate. He claimed that he was aware of his mom's affair long before it got sensationalised. His exact words were:

"Even before any articles came out, I always had information pertaining to [Kate's] relationship with Steve."

Speaking on the podcast, Collin said that he wanted to focus on what he describes as 'abuse' and 'difficult experiences' within the family. For the unversed, he accused his mother, Kate, of keeping him locked in an isolated room, abusing him, and even portraying him as having mental issues. The 22-year-old shared that he kept the alleged infidelity details in his heart for a long time, and it was finally time for the world to know how disappointed he was with his mother for the same.
