Talking about Bollywood, from Shilpa Shetty marrying her fan, Raj Kundra to Madhuri Dixit tying the knot with her biggest admirer, Dr Sriram Nene, some stars had fallen in love with their fans and had married them.
And nowadays, the penetration of social media in our lives has really revolutionised the way one gets to get connected to their favourite celeb. One such incident had happened with the hottest hunk of B-town, Kartik Aaryan. In a recent interview, he revealed how a female fan had rather turned obsessive and had started stalking his mother with a marriage proposal. His story is too hilarious to be missed!

In a candid chat with comedian, Tanmay Bhat, Kartik Aaryan was asked about his crazy fans. To which, the Luka Chuppi actor narrated a recent incident, in which a female fan had started stalking his mother, Mala Tiwari and had privately contacted her via Instagram with a marriage proposal, saying she wanted to become her daughter-in-law and was ready to sweep and mop the house as well. Kartik said:
“Ek recently hua tha, usne mujhe nahi meri mummmy ko stalk karna chalu kar diya ladki ne aur unko insta ID mei message bhejne lagi thi, ‘mujhe aapki bahu banna hai, main aapke ghar pe jhadu pocha bhi laga lungi.”
Kartik is the heartthrob of Bollywood and has become one of the most popular actors of his generation. However, he did not tell his parents about his passion for acting and had come to Mumbai on the pretext of studies. Recalling the time when he had bagged his first film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama and his mother, Mala Tiwari and his maasi had bumped into the director’s office saying ‘padhai ke liye bheja tha ye kya karne agaya’, Kartik shared:
“DY Patil ka entrance exam clear hua. I started studying there, study kya kar raha tha wahan se yaha audition ke liye jata rehta tha. Wahan se tabhi mera chalu hua jab Pyar Ka Panchnama ka audition crack hua. Tab maine mummy papa ko bataya ki main acting karne aya tha, padhne nahi. Agle din Luv sir ke office mein pohoch gayi thi, meri mummy aur meri mausi. Luv Ranjan ne jo laptop rakha hua tha audition tha, jisme ek romantic scene kar raha tha aur suddenly dono audition tape dekh rahe thi. They were shocked ki hum kahan baithe hain kya hai, maine padhai ke liye bheja tha ye kya karne agaya.”

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the show's host had asked Kartik about the qualities of an ideal girlfriend that he looks out in girls. Then, raising a fan's question, the host had asked, "What kind of girl does he want to marry?" To which, the actor had given an unfiltered reply which would surely melt your heart. He had said that he would like to marry someone like the gorgeous actress, Deepika Padukone. In his words:
"Someone like Deepika Padukone, the way she is. One who shows off her husband proudly."
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan is on a promotional spree for his upcoming release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
