Christmas Eve has turned into a fairytale moment for Jordyn Woods after NBA star, Karl-Anthony Towns got down on one knee and popped the question to her. The couple shared the pictures from the heartwarming moment with their fans, which were nothing short of a dream, especially after they endured multiple hardships during their five years together. The New York Knicks star proposed Jordyn during a romantic rooftop moment in New York City, shortly after playing a significant role in his team's thrilling 126-124 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods surprised their fans on Christmas evening after they shared their engagement photos on the internet in a joint post, along with sending their Christmas greetings to find. They engaged the rings at Overstory rooftop lounge, where Karl kneeled with Manhattan's skyline behind them. Jordyn, 28, looked elegant in a white dress with a vintage winter coat, whereas Karl-Anthony opted for a stylish suede jacket and black trousers. According to the people, the proposal was carefully planned to mark a special milestone in their relationship.

Karl-Antony Towns and Jordyn Woods were close friends long before they became a couple. They officially began dating in 2020, during the pandemic, and helped each other navigate emotional phases in life. During a conversation with Regular-ish, Karl Anthony said that their friendship helped him survive some of the darkest chapters of his life, including his mother, Jacqueline's demise from COVID-19 in April 2020. In her words: 

"It just so happened that COVID came, and it kind of forced us to decide where our relationship was going." 

Karl explained how it was interstitial to date his best friend as they dealt with both good and bad days together. They also faced massive public scrutiny when Jordyn's conflict with Tristan Thompson in 2019 drew online criticism. The NBA star stood by her and defended her against body-shaming rumors. He even publicly denied her cheating allegations in 2021 and 2022.
