Vivek Oberoi and Kareena Kapoor share a special relationship with one another, except for being colleagues and much-loved co-actors in the same film industry. And now, the handsome actor has recalled his past days when he had helped Kareena during her college days.
Vivek Oberoi and Kareena Kapoor share a common alumni, and it is none other than Mumbai’s famous Mithibai College. During a recent interview with Mashable India, Vivek recalled the old days when he, as a dutiful senior, had helped his then-junior, Kareena, get a view amps on her low attendance. In his words:
“Mujhe yaad hai Kareena, Bebo nayi nayi aayi thi mere college mein. Main senior tha Bebo se ek do saal, do teen saal senior tha. Bebo aayi thi nayi nayi Mithibai College. Bebo ko problem horaha tha attendance ka. Fikaar not, apun hai. Leke gaya details aur andar se uska pura attendance clear karake leke aya. She said, How did you do it? I said, Khush reh, maze mein reh.”

Well, this interesting college trivia did not end at the boundaries of Mithibai college only. Much later, when the duo began to act opposite each other in films like Omkara, Yuva and more, the actor took it upon himself and made it a point to remind her about his favour just for fun. In his words:
“I made her remember this also, we did three or four movies together as well.”
During another recent interview, Vivek was asked to answer a question about his ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, the actor refused to speak about it, and mentioned that the particular chapter of his life has been done and dusted already.

Fast forward to today, moving ahead of his many relationships, Vivek had found his soulmate in Priyanka Alva. While they are happily married now, their love story was indeed one of a kind. If reports are to be believed, both their families knew each other quite closely, except that the duo never had any inclinations for one another. However, he ended up meeting Priyanka as a means to stop his mother from setting up any other girl in his life. But, as fate would have it, their match created instant sparks of connection, and the rest is history.
