Diwali 2020 is quite different from every year as in 2020, it will be a low-key celebration for most of us owing to the global pandemic. But nothing can belittle the thrill and joy associated with the festival. Keeping in mind the pandemic, many B-town celebs have either cancelled their grand Diwali parties or are planning to have a low-key celebration with their family. And one among the latter is Bollywood’s diva, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will celebrate Diwali away from the hustle of the city with her hubby, Saif Ali Khan and son, Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are super thrilled as the couple is expecting their second baby. It was on August 12, 2020, when Kareena and Saif had confirmed the news of expecting a baby and had released an official statement regarding the same, which could be read as "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena." Since then, we are hooked to her social media handle and have been in complete awe of her pictures, flaunting her baby bump.
In an interview with The Times of India, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed she and her son, Taimur Ali Khan are planning to set out to Dharamshala, where Saif Ali Khan is shooting for a film. Revealing how it has been an year since the family had travelled, Kareena stated that she is really thrilled to travel to the mountains, and spend time amidst fresh air. Talking about their Diwali plans, she said, “We plan to keep it very quiet and spend as much time in the open as we can. It’s obviously not going to be a big Diwali, and I am very happy with that, I would rather have it small this year.”
On November 10, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan had a mini celebration at her manager, Poonam Damania’s house, where she was accompanied by her mother, Babita and her friend and fashion designer, Masaba Gupta. Kareena had looked stunning in a white salwar kameez, paired with a red dupatta. Her pregnancy glow and baby bump were unmissable. Poonam had taken to her IG handle to share pictures from the celebrations and had written, “Grateful for each day. In an interview with Zoom, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to their second pregnancy and Bebo had revealed that there was no filmy reaction. Talking about the same, she had said, “Unfortunately in my house there is nothing filmy as such. Because Saif is very normal and relaxed. Of course, he is always happy to hear it. So like I said, it wasn’t planned but it was something we really wanted to celebrate and we are really enjoying it together.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan is a proud wife, who never skips a chance to praise her hubby, Saif Ali Khan. In an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Kareena had hailed Saif for his choices of films. Calling him a ‘brave’ actor, Kareena had stated, “There will be hundreds of superstars but never another Saif.” She had also shared how Saif thinks differently, the doting wife had shared, “After 25 years of working in commercial films, Saif has turned it around with Sacred Games.
