Though their on-screen chemistry in the film didn’t appeal to the audience much, their off-screen love fascinated their fans. The Nawab and his Begum had dated for five years before tying the knot with each other on October 16, 2012. On December 20, 2016, the adorable couple had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Taimur Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is quite active on social media and loves posting pictures of her family. In an interview with ET NOW, Kareena was asked what was that one thing that attracted her towards Saif and she took the decision to marry him. To which, Bebo had revealed that the moment she met Saif, she was certain that it was not just a casual relationship and there was much more to it. She had also retorted that it was Saif who has been supportive throughout their marriage and the one who taught her that there is more to life than movies. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kareena had revealed an interesting and unknown fact about her love story with Saif. Kareena had revealed that every time Saif had proposed her, she had said, ‘I don’t know’. She had further revealed that he had told her that they should get married, in Greece as well as in Ladakh and in both the times, her answer was the same. She had stated it was not a ‘no’ but the fact that she doesn’t know him that well to say 'yes'. Kareena had further admitted that marrying Saif was the best decision of her life.
Saif Ali Khan has always been supportive and proud of his wife’s achievements. After the release of his much-awaited film, Laal Kaptaan which didn’t do well at the box office, Saif, in a conversation with movie critic, Rajeev Masand had opened up whether having a star wife who is equally popular as him brings any jealousy or sourness in their relationship. Saif had revealed that Kareena knows her game better and he has never felt bad or has compared her popularity with his as he feels that the two have different approaches to their work. He had also retorted, “At one point in time somebody is more successful than the other and the other time both people are having a great time. But I have never measured life in those terms. In fact, the success of my life has got nothing to do with box office.
