Kareena Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after divas in Tinseltown. She can be credited to have performed in several cult classic films, including Omkara, Tashan, Chameli, Veere De Wedding, Kurbaan, Agent Vinod among so many others. The actress, who is gearing up currently for her first-ever OTT release, however, has predominantly been remembered for two of her classic character portrayals, ‘Geet’ and ‘Poo, from the films, Jab We Met and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham respectively. And now, the diva shares her take on such selective character bias from her audience.
During the trailer launch event of her first-ever OTT release, Jaane Jaan, Kareena Kapoor expressed her dissent on being selectively remembered for just two of her roles, ‘Geet’ and ‘Poo’ from the respective films, Jab We Met and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. While there’s no doubt that Bebo performed exceptionally well in both of them, however, she feels people need to acknowledge some of her other iconic performances, and not just be biased with two. Expressing how she wishes to break such a biased stereotype, Kareena said:
“As an actor, you want to try and do something different every time. For me, it is difficult because I've been known for playing Poo and Geet... This thing has been fixed in people's minds. So, that has been a conscious effort that now I want to do different things. They don't think of the films that I've done in the past such as Dev, Chameli, and others. But I'm going to keep trying to do different things. I know that they will keep coming back to Poo and Geet. I've done quite a few intense roles but you all remember only Poo and Geet. I feel very angry about it. Like, Omkara was also intense.”

In one of the other anecdotes that Kareena shared with everyone at the trailer launch of her upcoming OTT debut, Jaane Jaan, the diva highlighted how more than her, it was her husband, Saif Ali Khan, who was beaming with excitement about it. Bebo mentioned that since Saif was offered the film even before she entered into the picture, the dashing actor has taken a keen interest in the developments of the film.
In one of her interviews with The Times of India, Kareena Kapoor shared an unheard anecdote about her upcoming OTT-release, Jaane Jaan. The diva mentioned that she was with her husband, Saif Ali Khan during one of his shoots, when she heard the script of the film. Moreover, she added that she was pregnant with her second child, Jeh back then as well. In her words:
“He had this idea when we were shooting Bhoot Police and he came up to me with the idea that why don't we make the film on this book. I was actually pregnant with Jeh at that time.I was like, it's such a lovely idea. Everything just fell together and when Jayu came to me and he said that, we're doing the film."

During the trailer launch of Jaane Jaan, Kareena shared a hilarious anecdote about her husband, Saif Ali Khan and shared the one salient advice he gave her for her OTT debut. The diva highlighted being told to change her attitude, while working with two talented actors, Vijay Varma and Jaydeep Ahlawat.
