In a world of glam and glitz that constantly believes in social media PDA, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have consciously kept their relationship away from the media glare. The couple has redefined the meaning of marriages and that age gap is just another number when love is true. It was in the year 2012 when Kareena and Saif had exchanged the wedding vows, but one look at them and you will see that their love is as fresh as a dewdrop on a rose petal! Bebo values Saif's traditions and that was one of the reasons why she ditched all the designers for her big intimate wedding and opted for her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore's wedding lehenga for her own.
Recently, Kareena graced The Love Laugh Live Show, wherein she opened up on relaxed evenings spent with her 'darling hubby', Saif. She shared, "I think both of us, we are very social, but we don't like to go to film parties. He doesn't want to go and watch any trial shows because he is like I can't lie, so obviously he won't go. Not too many friends in the film-film circle, even though it's quite strange because both of us are inherently film-film."
She further added, "So, an average evening is always like he is reading, lots of candles are lit. Our dinner's always early, we like to eat in early so like by 7:30 or 8." Kareena also shared that her husband loves cooking on family nights, "In fact 3 times a week, he will be like let's cook, let's have a bottle of wine and chat and that's our kind of catchup with Taimur running around. We are playing with him and sitting." (Also Read: Sunjay Kapoor's Wife, Priya Shares 9-Month Birthday Wish For Son, Azarias Suri Kapur, Pic Inside)
On the same show, Kareena also revealed one habit of Saif that annoys her, and said, "I'm like 'Saif, what to do you want to do? Should we like try and step out?'. His reaction is, 'No'. 'Can I like reupholster the sofa'. 'No'. And then suddenly three hours later he messages me an say 'Yeah, I think you should reupholster the sofa.' So I'm like 'when I'm telling you why do you always say no'. I think that's just like a thing. He has to say no first and then he kinda comes around."
Earlier, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Kareena had talked about how love brewed between her and Saif. She had shared, "When I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. I’d met him before, but while we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve! He was so charming; I fell for him hook, line & sinker. I remember while shooting in Ladakh & Jaisalmer, we’d go on long bike rides for some alone time. We’d enjoy the beauty, have great conversations & just bond!"
She had further added, "He’s 10 years older than me & has 2 kids. But for me, he was just Saif–he helped me heal & love myself. Maybe it was the fact that we’re so different–he’s more private & not ‘Bollywoodised’, but I imbibed that from him. I learnt to balance things & not let them get to me. We'd been dating for a while, when he said he’s not 25 & can't keep dropping me home every night. So he told my mom, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with her. We want to live together.' My mom was cool with it. It’s so easy with him. Even when we decided to get married, it felt right."
