Kareena Kapoor Khan and her darling husband, Saif Ali Khan were blessed with their firstborn on December 20, 2016, whom they lovingly named Taimur Ali Khan. The little boy became an elder brother with the arrival of the youngest member of the Pataudi family, Jehangir Ali Khan on February 21, 2021. Since then, from their doting mommy, Kareena posting a picture of her boys to the little ones being spotted by the paps, netizens have been loving each and every glimpse of Taimur and Jehangir. However, the kind of love Taimur got ever since his birth is unmatched by any other star kid.
Now, in an interview with Midday India, Kareena Kapoor talked about the frenzy around her elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, ever since his birth. When the doting mommy was asked about the same, she revealed that her son knows, he is being clicked because of his popular parents. She said:
“But why? What is the reason? There is no reason and I think he is growing up knowing that his parents are famous stars. He wants to lead a normal life and that’s what we are giving him. If you want to photograph him, then photograph him. But then let him be."

Further, Kareena mentioned that although Taimur is unbothered by all of the frenzy around him, he sometimes also questions her why fans and paps go gaga over him. Thus, Kareena mentioned that since her son is a smart boy, she doesn't prevent the paps from clicking him, but atleast they shouldn't disturb him. She added:
“He is going to figure it out if he ever googles himself. He is honestly very unaffected. He knows my parents are famous and that’s why they are clicking him but still sometimes he is like, ‘Why are they clicking me?’ That is why I am like (to paparazzi) ‘ok lena hai toh lo. But let him be na.’ Now, let him grow up how he wants to and he has understood. He is a smart boy.”

Afterwards, the actress was asked why she never wanted to hide her kid's faces. To this, she explained her and Saif's decision that while many celebrities prefer to hide the same, she and Saif never thought about the same. She mentioned that if she had done that, that would have scared her son. Elaborating more on this, she shared:
“I think each parent can choose what they want for their child. For me if he is coming out with me, you are going to click him. I didn’t want to cover his face. I felt if I would cover his face, I would scar him. He will be like, ‘Why are you doing that?’ That would have an adverse effect as well and I don’t want that.”
