One such mother is our Bollywood’s elite actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is the proud mother of little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had welcomed their baby, Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016. From the day, Taimur was born, his pictures had stormed the internet and became a social media sensation overnight. He is not only adored because of his cuteness but also for his friendly behaviour with his father, Saif Ali Khan and mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan. From family vacations to birthday parties, whenever Taimur goes out, he always produces either a funny or a cute moment for all of us.
Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Taimur’s mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about her little son and what are her views about his future. She said, “He is travelling around all over India and the world with us. He has become quite the globetrotter (laughs). We are leaning on each other, supporting each other. He understands my work and hopefully, he is going up to be Inshallah a smart, intelligent and bright boy.” Kareena also revealed that every day she learns something from her son and added, “That’s all I can hope for and we are trying to do our best as parents. This isn’t the first time when Kareena had talked about Taimur’s influence in her life and how everything has changed since his birth. In a conversation with The Love Laugh Live Show, Kareena had revealed the sweetest thing Taimur says when she leaves for work, she had said, "He says the sweetest thing every day when I have to go to work. ’Amma, don't go.' It just breaks your heart. Sometimes, I just have to slip out without saying bye to him."
There’s no doubt that Kareena is balancing her work and personal life quite well nowadays. The Bollywood actress is giving enough time to Taimur and has revealed the trick behind it in an interview with the Filmfare, “We women somehow know how to multitask. I’m enjoying every minute of it. I’m balancing it well. My time with my child is my time. I don’t need to flaunt it on Instagram. I don’t need to flaunt it in front of the media. Like I don’t need to carry my child at the airport to prove how much I love him. My husband too believes it’s not needed. By carrying the child in my arms I don’t need to prove that I’m a hands-on mother. Even if I have two hours with Saif, Taimur and myself in the bedroom, it’s the quality of time and wanting to be together that matters, rather than the quantity of time we spend. I come from that school of parenting.”
However, it’s not just Kareena, who loves spending time with Taimur, even Saif Ali Khan loves spending time with Taimur and had even postponed his shoot once. Kareena is the one who had revealed this in her show, What Women Want. Kareena admitted, she has to push Saif to go to work, whilst he wants to spend time with the little munchkin. She remarked, “Saif is obsessed! I have to push him out, I have to tell him to go.” But once he almost cancelled the shoot saying, “Nahi Nahi, cancel the shoot. I can't go. I can't leave Taimur. I'm like you have to go, you have to go to work. And I have to tell him that I want to be with you also now sometimes alone.” No wonder any parent would love spending time with a child like Taimur.
