Karan Mehra had shot to fame by playing the role of a 'Naitik' in the television show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actor had broken the hearts of millions of girls when he got married to his long time girlfriend, Nisha Rawal. The duo had met on the sets of the film, Hastey Hastey and had fallen for each other. The film had not only changed Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal's professional life, but the shoot had brought along the best surprise of their lives.
Karan and Nisha had begun dating, but that had not stopped them from achieving their dreams in the acting world. After pursuing their careers and dating for more than six years, Karan and Nisha had tied the knot on November 24, 2012. However, the year 2021 had brought a major storm in their marital life as they had decided to part ways, following a lot of controversies.

A few hours ago, Karan took to his IG handle to share an adorable video of his son, Kavish Mehra. In the video, Karan was seen playing along with the little munchkin. Alongside the video, the doting father wrote, "75 days since I saw you last little Mehra @kavishmehra and counting." Since Karan and Nisha's case is sub-judice, Karan is staying away from his son.
On June 14, 2021, to mark Kavish Mehra's birthday, Karan had sent a space-themed cake for his son. He had also shared the picture on his IG handle and had penned an emotional note for Kavish. Karan had written, "Happy Birthday my little Man @kavishmehra God bless you and protect you always."

Going further in his teary-eyed note, Karan had talked about his son, Kavish telling him that he loves him in gazillions. Stating the same, he had written, "I remember you telling me that you love me gazillions and me saying I Love You gazillions and gazillions and gazillions............. I’m always right there in your heart I will always LOVE YOU Thankyou everyone and bless Kavish Kove and Kugs."
On June 1, 2021, Karan Mehra was arrested by the Mumbai police after his wife, Nisha Rawal, had filed a complaint against him. According to a report in TOI, Karan and Nisha are going through divorce proceedings at a family court. Reportedly, Karan had pushed Nisha against the wall leading to a head injury, following which she filed the complaint. However, shortly after, Karan was granted bail.
