The power couple of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have proved that love is the only ingredient for a happy marriage. It was on the sets of their film Tashan when Kareena Kapoor and the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan had fallen head-over-heels in love with one another. After dating for five years, Kareena and Saif tied the knot on October 16, 2012.
In 2016, Kareena and Saif had welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan and in February 2021, the lovely couple had welcomed their second baby boy, Jeh. During her second pregnancy, Kareena had turned an author and had documented details of both her pregnancies in her book, KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN'S PREGNANCY BIBLE: The ultimate manual for moms-to-be.

In the guest column of Kareena's book, Saif revealed how after the birth of Taimur, his and Kareena's relationship changed. Penning the same, Saif wrote, "I suppose the lesson is to be patient with yourself. If there is anything I have learnt as a father and a partner it is that what matters is your intention. Half the trouble is when we expect too much from ourselves or from people around us."
Revealing how he and Kareena got closer with the arrival of Tim, Saif continued, "And it’s not just Kareena who has changed. Our relationship has, too. When she got pregnant, we told ourselves we would live the same life; we’d continue to travel as we always had, to Paris, London, Gstaad. We’d take our baby and maybe a nanny to help us. But life changed when Taimur was born! I know I lost interest in superficial socialising. We stayed in a lot. It brought us even closer. For us, there is nothing like getting together with our family and closest friends, having a drink with the little one running around and playing."

On August 6, 2021, Kareena had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable collage. She had recreated her and baby Tim's cutesy picture with her second born, Jeh. However, Kareena had hidden Jeh's face with a baby emoji. Alongside it, she had written, "My strength... my pride... my world. I can't wait for you guys to read about my journey, experiences, and learnings."
On October 16, 2020, the doting couple had completed eight years of marital bliss. To mark their eighth anniversary, Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted a cosy romantic picture with her hubby, Saif Ali Khan. Revealing the key to their happy married life, Kareena had written in her caption how their ‘happily ever after’ had started. Kareena had captioned her anniversary post as “Once upon a time there was a girl named Beboo and a boy named Saifu. They both loved sphagetti and wine... and lived happily ever after. Now you guys know the key to a happy marriage. On that note, happy anniversary SAKP... here’s to eternity and beyond.”
