Karan is very active on social media and regularly keeps updating his fans with the pictures of his beautiful wifey, Nisha and their one-year-old little cotton ball, Kavish Mehra. Speaking of the latter, Kavish turned 13-months-old recently and his parents, Karan and Nisha shared his mundan picture captioning it, “Strutting the new look. Psst Psst! In an interview, when Karan was asked about his feelings post-embracing fatherhood, he had replied, “It's different actually. The feeling of knowing that the baby is inside was different and now that it is out, the feeling is even more different. Like now that we are feeding him, cleaning him and all, we are getting to experience a lot. You know in case I go out and suddenly I am like, oh we have a baby at home. For those who do not know, Karan and Nisha first met on the sets of Jimmy Shergil’s film, Hastey Hastey wherein Karan worked in the design department and Nisha was the lead actress. They eventually became friends and shortly, fell in love. In an interview, Karan had recalled, “It was love at first sight. Nisha is a beautiful soul. She understands me totally and is a perfect life partner. She is a driving force in my life and tries to keep a positive attitude in me, even under stress”.
After 5 years of dating each other, Karan and Nisha tied the knot on November 24, 2012. The two have always spoken reverently of each other in various interviews. Nisha once told a media portal, “Karan is a much-disciplined guy and has all the qualities of a dream man. He is also very caring by nature. We complement each other”. Karan, on the other hand, had said, “Nisha is the perfect partner who understands me totally. I feel lucky to have her in my life”.
On June 14, 2017, Karan and Nisha became proud parents to their baby boy, Kavish. Talking about his little munchkin, Karan had earlier said, “Actually he did not come directly into my hands. I saw him coming out and he was cleaned and then when he came into my hands I was like, Woah, that's my baby; he's finally into my hands." Talking about who does Kavish look like, Karan laughed and quipped, "Now I feel Kavish looks more like both of us. He looks more like me when I was young but now Nisha says that he resembles her. His hands, his ears, his toes are just like me. But honestly, at two weeks old, at that kind of phase, all the babies look the same to me”.
