PeeCee, who left Bollywood and has been soaring high in her career in Hollywood, earlier made a stir on the internet when she claimed why she had to leave Bollywood. The actress mentioned that she was being 'pushed into a corner in the industry', which is why people started pointing their fingers at PeeCee's alleged feud with Karan Johar. And now, months after that, Karan opened up about his feelings about watching Priyanka making it on her own in Hollywood.
For those who don't know, Karan Johra recently graced the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 to attend the premiere of his co-produced film, Kill. Moreover, during a conversation with ET Canada, KJo was asked about his feelings about Priyanka stepping out of Bollywood and making herself stand as one in Hollywood. To this, Karan said it's fantastic. Talking more about the same, Karan stated it is really wonderful to see Priyanka growing from strength to strength and achieving success on her own terms. Elaborating more on the same, Karan stated:
"To see her (Priyanka Chopra) grow from strength to strength, and truly achieve the kind of success that she has on her own terms… and the way she has gone about it, she is always wonderful on every platform that she has ever been on, everything that she ever stands for and represents.. it is fantastic."

A few months back, Priyanka Chopra created a buzz among the audience after she appeared on a podcast and revealed the reason behind stepping out of Bollywood. While speaking to Dax Shepherd on his podcast, Armchair Expert, Priyanka mentioned that she was being pushed into a corner in the industry, and she had a beef with people. Priyanka also shared that she got tired of politics, and she decided that it was time for a break. Sharing more about the same, Priyanka shared:
"I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, and I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break. So, when this music thing came, I was like ‘f*** it, I am going to America."
Although Priyanka Chopra hadn't taken any names for whom she had to step out from the Hindi film industry, a lot of people, including Kangana Ranaut, claimed that PeeCee hinted at Karan Johar. Soon after Priyanka's interview made its way to social media, Kangana took to her Twitter handle and slammed KJo for banning Priyanka Chopra for her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and harassing her to the point that she had no option but to leave India.
