Karan Johar is not just a superb filmmaker but also an adorable son and a doting father to his twins, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar. He had redefined the entire meaning of fatherhood when in the year 2017 he had announced the arrival of his little wonders. Karan always gives a sneak peek into their adorable family moments. Despite a hectic schedule, Karan always manages to take some time out for his family. Karan’s little munchkins, Yash and Roohi are one of the most sought-after celebrity kids.
On March 26, 2020, Karan took to his Instagram handle and shared an adorable video of his son, Yash giving his cute response on ‘Coronavirus’. When asked by Karan what does Yash thought of the Coronavirus, he said, ‘It is very bad’. Karan further asked Yash what is he going to do about it and the little munchkin had no answer to it. Along with the video, Karan wrote, “Everyone fighting it in their own way ...Yash doing his own thing to fight it.”
On August 3, 2019, Yash and Roohi had celebrated the Twins Day by twinning in matching blue ensembles. While Roohi had donned a blue denim dress, Yash had showed off his dapper side in a pair of white shorts teamed with a blue denim shirt. Karan had shared the picture of the lovely twins as his Instagram story, and captioned it as "Twin Day Today!"
On February 7, 2020, Karan Johar’s twins, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar had turned three. He had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a family picture and a couple of other pictures from their third birthday. Along with the pictures, he had written an emotional note and had expressed his gratitude towards his mother, Hiroo ji for co-parenting his twins. On March 8, 2018, i.e. International Women’s Day, Karan Johar had shared a heartfelt message wishing to raise Roohi just like her grandmother. He had said, “I was raised by a woman who had a strong mind, an independent mind and a solid soul. She taught me how to live a fearless life along with a strong sense of right and wrong! She also taught me the art of abandon! She made me the man I am, a man who is honoured to be raised by a woman of substance! Roohi my darling I hope I raise you to be just like your grandmother.”
In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Karan had shared that he is living the best phase of his life. He had stated, “I am in a very content phase of life. Actually no, content would be a wrong word. It would mean I am satisfied or when you get too comfortable. But I believe I am in a very exciting phase. I am very energized. I am also in a deeply emotional zone in my life and I mean it with the birth of my children who've really come like a sunshine. Just waking after them and watching them sleep at night are the two highlights of my day. They have changed the whole aura around me.
