Love is in the air for one of our handsome hunks, Sidharth Malhotra. After allegedly dating and parting ways with Bollywood’s pretty actress, Alia Bhatt, Sid (as his loved ones call him) is rumoured to be in a relationship with Lust Stories star, Kiara Advani. Though both of them have denied being in a relationship, the buzz is that the two spend quite a lot of time with each other. As it is rightly said, ‘there is no smoke without fire’.
On and off, Kiara and Sidharth are spotted together enjoying at various get-togethers at Karan Johar’s place. So much so, that the root from where the rumours of Sid and Kiara seeing each other started from one of those Karan Johar’s intimate bashes. And now, the latest reports have it that Kiara and Sidharth met each other for the first time at KJo’s pad, and it was Karan himself who played the Cupid between the two. Karan was the real matchmaker between Sid and Kiara as he was allegedly the one who brought the ‘so-called’ lovebirds together.
Topping it all was the segment on Koffee With Karan 6, where the Raazi actress, Alia opened up about her ex-flame’s current relationship status. When she was asked about the same, pat came her reply and she said she has no idea. And when the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil filmmaker asked her who she thinks Sidharth should date, the 25-year-old actress promptly replied, "Kiara Advani." Oohh, this is interesting, no? Dismissing their dating rumours, Sid was once quoted as saying, “Nahi yaar. I met her only once at Karan Johar’s party. After that I have not met her at all.” In an interview earlier, Sid has also shared that he is quite mum about his personal life. He remarked, “I am very protective about my relationships. I think it’s a personal decision if you want to talk about who’s visiting you, who you are going out with at night or who you are hanging out with. I don’t know how it’s news even or how interesting it is to people. I can’t connect to it, so it’s very odd for me to talk about my personal life. Talking about his marriage plans, the Jabariya Jodi actor had said, “No. I believe in the institution of marriage. I have grown up in a middle-class environment where we have joint families, we have chacha-tais and I love that energy. But in today’s day and age, marriage has become just a tagline. I think I will only get married when I want to have babies. I think otherwise, it would be unfair to the child to not give him/her a name. Till then, it doesn’t matter. You can be with whoever you want to. While Sidharth was earlier rumoured to be dating Alia, Kiara two has a few names with whom she was linked up. Kiara has been linked to Sonam Kapoor’s cousin, Mohit Marwah, co-star Mustafa Burmawalla and Varun Dhawan. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kiara will be seen in quite a few movies. More so, she will be seen playing a significant role in Good News, which also stars biggies namely, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh. Sidharth, on the other hand, will next be seen in an Indian comedy film named, Jabariya Jodi opposite Parineeti Chopra.
