It was in 2018 when Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath had taken wedding vows around the sacred fire and were tied by the bond of holy matrimony. Two days before Kapil and Ginni completed their one year of married life, the couple was blessed with the best gift of their lives. When Ginni was pregnant with their first child, Anayra Sharma, the couple had kept the news under wraps and only a few months before the due month, Kapil had confirmed the news of pregnancy. Announcing the arrival of his baby girl, Kapil had tweeted in 2019, “Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings love u all jai mata di.”

Then a year later, in 2020, reports were rife that Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath were expecting their second child. But it was only a month before Ginni gave birth to their little one, Kapil had informed about her pregnancy in an interactive session with fans on Twitter. Finally, announcing their second born’s arrival, Kapil had tweeted, "Namaskaar we are blessed with a Baby boy this early morning, by the grace of God Baby n Mother both r fine, thank you so much for all the love, blessings n prayers love you all ginni n kapil #gratitude."
When a celeb couple embraces parenthood, fans wait with bated breath to get a glimpse of the little one or know details such as name, who does he/she looks like etc. Two months after the birth of his second child, Kapil Sharma finally revealed the name of his newborn son. To wish Kapil on his birthday, singer, Neeti Mohan, who is expecting her first child, asked the comedian, "Happy birthday dearest @KapilSharmaK9 Pahji. Lots of love to you and your family. Ab to baby boy ka naam bata do." To which, Kapil replied, "Thank you Neeti. Hope ur taking well care of yourself. We named him trishaan." Sending love to the little one, Neeti retorted, "What a beautiful name TRISHAAN Congratulations Pahji @KapilSharmaK9 Trishaan Kapil Sharma sounds so good! God bless him."
A few days after the birth of their son, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath's social media handles were flooded with congratulatory messages and questions about their little bundle of joy. On Twitter, one of his fans had asked him if they have named their second child. Responding to the question, Kapil had said that the namkaran ceremony, in which a newborn is usually given a name, has not taken place by then.

When Kapil Sharma had announced the arrival of their second child, congratulatory wishes are pouring in on social media for him and Ginni Chatrath. The best one came from Bharti Singh, who had posted a throwback picture of Ginni and her daughter, Anayra Sharma from the then-mommy-to-be’s baby shower. Ginni and Anayra had twinned on the former’s baby shower in green-coloured outfits. Bharti had captioned the picture as “Its boy. yay!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st Feb will always be a special date for me. My Lil bundle of joy, junior Kapil, you have brought in so much happiness to me... I can’t even express in words. Mera bhai ki family Aaj complete ho gayi... @kapilsharma bhai Abhi aapko parental leave Leni chahiye and spend tones of your time with your angels... god bless you Lil one; can’t wait to hold you in my arms! @kapilsharma @ginnichatrath.”
After the arrival of his second child, Kapil Sharma is spending quality time with his wife, Ginni Chatrath and their tiny tots, Anayra Sharma and Trishaan Sharma. Kapil’s show, The Kapil Sharma Show is currently on a break and he is also recovering from a back injury. As per the reports, ending his paternity leaves, Kapil will travel to Dubai in April for the shoot for his next project. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source had revealed, “Kapil has already begun working on his material for the show, and is doing regular reading sessions with his team. He is currently recovering from his back injury, and will be travelling to Dubai next month to shoot for the special which will feature his trademark comedy style.”
