Comedian and actor, Kapil Sharma rose to fame after winning the stand-up comedy reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3, in 2007. He is currently a household name in India, courtesy of his popular talk show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil has been riding high on the professional front and enjoys a massive fan following. He has once again won our hearts with his beautiful gesture on his birthday.
On April 8, 2023, Kapil Sharma took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful video, wherein he was seen planting a tree in a hilly location. The actor was accompanied by his two adorable kids, Anayra and Trishaan, who looked the cutest in warm woollen clothes. However, what caught our attention was that the little munchkins were keen on helping their daddy in planting the trees, and they were seen cutely fighting for the shovel and water can.

Alongside the wholesome video, Kapil Sharma penned a beautiful note and shared that he ensures to plant a tree on his birthday every year, no matter where he is. However, this time, he was in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, and he planted a Deodar tree there. But the special part was that his kids, Anayra and Trishaan, urged him to plant another tree and even helped him. His note can be read as:
"Wherever I’m on my birthday, I always plant a tree, but this time it was so special bcoz my kids were helping me n they said one more tree, so we planted two trees in beautiful #palampur #himachalpradesh, posting this video so that more people get inspired to do the same."

Kapil Sharma tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Ginni Chatrath, on December 12, 2018, and the madly-in-love couple is blessed with two kids, Anayra and Trishaan. Once in an interview with Aaj Tak, Kapil lauded his wife and mentioned that she didn't face problems while adjusting to his acting background after their marriage. Citing the reason behind the same, the comedian shared that his wife hailed from a well-to-do family, and since both of them are Punjabis, they bonded well. Kapil also revealed that he respects Ginni a lot as she stood by him through thick and thin. Kapil also added that he hopes to make more money so that his kids might have a different experience while growing up with privilege.

Once in an interview, Kapil Sharma also recalled how Ginni Chatrath had decided to live with him so that she could help him come out of depression. The comedian admitted that it was a big step for Ginni to live with him even before their marriage and added how she didn’t hesitate for a second. Calling her a ‘courageous woman’, Kapil admitted that if it wasn’t for Ginni, he wouldn’t be out of the darkest phase of his life. While complimenting her for the same, Kapil said:
"The courage that she showed is bigger. She belongs to a well-to-do family, but in our families, it’s a big thing for a girl to live with a boy before marriage. I don’t care if we will get married or not, you get well, and then I will go back. Uska bohot bada haath tha mujhe nikaalne me..it was a bad phase."
On the work front, Kapil was last seen in the film, Zwigato.
