Kannada TV actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada season 5 contestant, Ashita Chandrappa and her darling husband, Rohan Raghavendra are all set to enter the new phase of their lives - parenthood. The couple got married in March 2022, and within a year of their marriage, the madly-in-love couple is expecting their first child. Now, as Ashita Chandrappa shared an array of glimpses from her grand baby shower, it was her traditional look that was simply unmissable.
Taking to her IG handle on September 1, 2023, Ashita Chandrappa shared mesmerising glimpses from her traditional baby shower. For the event, she donned a green Kanjivaram silk saree with broad blue borders. She completed her look with a matching blue-hued blouse with heavily embellished zari designs on the sleeves. She accentuated her look with a green beaded necklace, matching silver earrings, a mang teeka, matching bangles and a dainty kamarbandh. She tied her hair into a braid and accessorised it with mogras. Moreover, Ashita can be seen flaunting her baby bump as she radiated a pregnancy glow in the photos.

Ashita also posted a few other adorable photos from the ceremony. In one of the photos, her father can be seen giving a kiss on her cheek during the ceremony. In another photo, she can be seen posing with her sister and looked the brightest. Sharing the photo, she penned, “Thank you my little one for all that you did for me through this journey. Love you to the moon and back". Ashita shared another family picture from the ceremony, featuring her husband, Rohan Raghavendra, her father and sister. The pictures radiated pure joy and excitement to meet the newest member of their family soon.

Ashita Chandrappa is an engineering graduate. However, she started her acting career with the Kannada TV serial, Jothe Jotheyali and mesmerised her fans with her character of 'Shalini', who aspires to become an IAS officer. Afterwards, she featured in a Tamil daily soap, in the reality show, Bigg Boss Kannada 5, and also in Radha Ramana. Coming to her personal life, Ashita married the love of her life, Rohan in March 2022 in a private ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions.
