A mother is always worried for her child’s safety, no matter how old they grow. From keeping fasts for them to ensuring that they are healthy and safe a mother can go to any extent to protect her child. While Kangana was in her hometown and presenting her unapologetic opinion on Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious death case, she had taken a panga with Mumbai’s leading party, Shiv Sena. As Kangana had to visit Mumbai to safeguard her office, she had demanded security from the central government. And the government was kind enough to give her Y+ security to ensure her safety during her Mumbai visit. This had made Kangana to be the only actor being provided the Y+ security. This gesture of the central government has touched Kangana’s mother, who was worried about her daughter.
Kangana took to her Twitter handle to share that her mother had warned her about the same. She tweeted, "When they broke my office, mom’s warning face flashed before my eyes “ KAHA THA MAINE” haven’t taken her calls ever since, this just flashed on my timeline, pleasantly surprised by her refreshing take on this whole matter. #KanganaVsUddhav." Along with it, she reposted her mother, Asha Ranaut's conversation with The Tribune, where she has expressed her gratitude towards, Home Minister, Amit Shah for providing security to her daughter. In the video, Kangana's mother shared that the Ranaut family has always been a Congress follower and yet they helped them. She said, “The blessings of the entire country are with Kangana. I am proud that my daughter has always stood for the truth. I thank Union home minister Amit Shah. We are not even associated with that party (BJP), we were from the Congress... My grandfather-in-law was a member of the Congress party. Even though they (BJP) knew that we were from the Congress from the beginning, they supported us” in Hindi.

Asha ji also thanked Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and agreed to be a part of BJP. She said, “Amit Shah supported us and gave security to my daughter. I also thank Modi ji. Just see what happened there (in Mumbai). If my daughter did not have security, then God knows what would have happened to her. Now we are with Modi ji.”
On September 10, 2020, Kangana had visited her office, accompanied by her Y+ security to inspect the demolished rooms by the BMC officials. After taking a look at the situation, Kangana had said that she doesn’t have money to renovate her office and thus, she will work from the damaged place only as a symbol of a woman’s will that dared to rise in this world. Union Minister, Ramdas Athawale had also met Kangana at her residence and had later revealed that she is welcome to join BJP or RPI if she ever wishes to join any of the one. However, he also revealed that Kangana has no interest in joining politics. Also, Kangana is reported to leave Mumbai on September 14, 2020 and return to her hometown, Manali after her home quarantine period. Earlier, in an interview with Republic TV, Kangana had alleged that an actor had taken advantage of her during her early days in Bollywood. She had claimed that the actor had once gotten intimate with her after spiking her drink and had become her ‘self-appointed husband’. This had made her mother worry about her even more. Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana had shared a picture with her mother and had mentioned how her mother had started crying over a phone call, and had revealed that her mother is fasting in a hope that her daughter gets married after she had unveiled her brutal past in public. Sharing the picture, she had written, “Kal raat mata ji ko utsukta se phone kar ke poocha kaisa laga interview toh woh ro padi.
