Kajol is a famous Bollywood actor, who is loved by millions for her bubbly nature and down-to-earth personality. For the unversed, the diva got married to the love of her life, Ajay Devgn, on February 24, 1999. The actress is currently busy with her upcoming series, The Trial – Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha. In the series, she will be portraying the role of a lawyer, where she will have to make some tough choices. However, in a recent interview, the actress shared a little anecdote about her personal life and revealed the tough decisions she had to make in her real life.
In an interview with the IANS, Kajol shared that she had to make many tough decisions in her personal life. Sharing details about the same, the actress said that it was during the peak of her career when she got married. She also shared that she was unsure whether she would join the industry in the first place. Spilling the beans about the same, Kajol revealed that joining the industry was a game changer for her. Elaborating on the same, Kajol mentioned:
"Actually, a lot of instances in my life made me make tough decisions. The fact that I got married at the peak of my career, the fact that I actually joined the film industry, it was a game changer for me because I didn’t know whether I wanted to join the film industry or not."

In the same interview, Kajol recalled that her father told her if she would join the industry, she won't be able to take off the paint on her face, ever. Kajol shared that she thought that it was untrue, but time proved her wrong and her father right. Sharing the details about the same, Kajol stated:
"You’re never going to get rid of this paint on your face...Once you put it on, it’s on forever. I remember thinking to myself that no, that’s not true. I can take it off whenever I like. Of course, time has proved that he is right."

Ajay Devgn was a special guest at the trailer launch event of Kajol's upcoming series, The Trial. However, while interacting with the media, a reporter asked Ajay if Kajol acts like her reel-life character and makes the most important decision. To the question, Ajay gave a savage reply. He asked the interviewer, 'Apki shaadi ho gayi?' The actor added that everyone married could answer the question, and the answer would be the same. Ajay's reply made a ROFL moment on the internet.

Earlier in an interview with Humans of Bombay, the actress talked about her and Ajay's dating life. For the unversed, Ajay and Kajol first met on the set of their film, Hulchul, in 1995. However, the actress shared that they were dating their respective partners during that time. Kajol then revealed that it was after the two broke up with their respective partners that love started brewing between the two. The actress then shared that marriage is a lot of work and not easy. Kajol mentioned:
"It’s got to do with wanting to work on it every day and I think that is something that any married couple will tell you that it is work, it is a hell of a lot of work, it is not easy. You have to reinvent yourself and you have to look at it differently every day. There are new things that you have to accept about each other and learn."
