Kajol is a hands-on mother and an outstanding actress. Over the years, she has proved her acting prowess in many Bollywood films. She was last seen in the OTT-released film, Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy. Kajol had made her debut in Bollywood with the film, Baazigar with Shah Rukh Khan.
Kajol is absolutely a family person. For the unversed, in 2001, she was pregnant with her first child when she was shooting for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham but had lost that child due to miscarriage. Later in 2003, she had embraced motherhood with the arrival of her baby girl, Nysa Devgan after whom, she had taken a break from movies. Seven years later, in 2010, Kajol and Ajay once again had welcomed parenthood with their son, Yug's arrival.

On January 13, 2022, Kajol took to her IG handle and shared a beautiful family picture with her kids and husband, Ajay Devgn and wished her fans and followers on the auspicious day of Lohri. In the picture, everyone can be seen smiling from ear to ear. Sharing the picture, she captioned it as:
"Mamas and babies and happies..#happylohri everyone !"
As soon as she shared the picture on her handle, Saba Ali Khan dropped in her comment section to convey her wish to the family. She commented, "Happy Lohri to the family too. Stay Safe."
Kajol had wished her followers Merry Christmas in a hilarious way by sharing an adorable picture with her baby boy, Yug Devgan. In the picture, Yug can be seen clinging to his mother wearing a red sweater. Sharing the photo the actress wrote in the caption:
"Made the boy and the sweater...#merrychristmas #frommetoyou #fun #family #eatdrinkandbemerry."

In an old interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol had once opened up about motherhood and had talked about how a woman can get tagged as a bad or good mom. She had said:
"If you don't cook for your child, go to pick up your child from school, you're a bad mother if you don't attend one PTA meeting, you're a bad mother... So, there are too many things that make you a bad mom and not enough that makes you a good mom."
Talking further in the interview, Kajol had addressed the myths about working moms. She had mentioned:
"It's never about 'oh you don't love me enough'. You just have to convince your parent that you love them enough and that they make up your world."
Kajol had even praised the moms who stay at home and take care of their kids. The actress had further added to it:
"I always look at them with this awe, I really don't know how they manage to make it look so effortless!"
