Life is unpredictable and so are relationships. For instance, who imagined celeb couples like Hrithik Roshan-Sussane Khan, Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna Bhabani or Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan to breakup? While we were thinking about this, we just came across an interview of Kajol with entertainment portal Pinkvilla, where the Dilwale actress made some really relevant points as to why relationships have become so fragile and vulnerable these days, and breaking up seems to be the easiest thing. (Check Out: After Yrs Of Togetherness, Kajol Shared Real Reason Of Marrying Ajay Who Wasn't Successful Like Her)
Kajol, who has been married to Ajay Devgn for almost two decades, shared some insightful things about why relationships don’t work out for us the way they used to for our parents. Not just that, she also spoke about the secret behind her happy and solid married life with Ajay. While talking about the most basic thing that goes wrong between couples, the actress pointed out, "I think we're losing tolerance (and no, it's not an intolerance remark btw) it's about losing patience. We're just losing willingness to go that little bit far ahead or to give people their second chance."
That’s a very valid and meaningful point here. Intolerance is definitely one of the vital reasons behind people breaking up these days. People no longer have the patience to get to the bottom of an issue and resolving it. They prefer letting go than trying a lit bit harder. She further added, “We don't give any benefit of doubt to our partner anymore. Today, we're just waiting for the person to make a mistake so that we can pounce on him and tell, 'hey now I am one up there. Now you see.' I think marriages and relationships cannot be like that if they have to be successful!"
That’s the most brilliant way of putting it, Kajol! Now talking about the secret behind her successful marriage with Ajay, the Fanaa actress said, "I think our relationship has worked only because I speak a lot and he quietly listens. So the secret to our happy married life is that Ajay doesn't say much. And that we're best of friends." Kajol is a very sorted kind of person. In an earlier interview, when she was asked why she tied the knot with a less popular and successful actor than her, she retorted, “It was the right thing for me to do at that point of time. I had been already working for around eight and a half to nine years. So, I was ready to kind of calm down on my work front and kind of take it easier.”
That’s quite a revelation, Kajol. May you and Ajay always stick together and keep giving us fabulous marriage and relationship goals. For more updates on your favourite Bollywood celebs, stay tuned with us.
