Especially when a celeb couple is concerned, who was once head over heels in love with each other and were together for long-time, but part ways due to some irresolvable issues. We are talking about one of the most loved bahus of Indian television, saas-bahu saga Kumkum fame, Juhi Parmar and her actor husband, Sachin Shroff. Juhi and Sachin enjoyed their marital life for 8-long-years, before taking the decision to part their ways. They are blessed with an adorable angel, Samairra. Now, as per the latest reports, the estranged couple Juhi and Sachin are granted divorce at the Bandra Family Court. According to the sources, Juhi and Sachin remained cordial through their divorce and it was an amicable one. It is also reported that Juhi has not demanded any alimony and their daughter will be living with her. Due to some unresolvable issues, Juhi and Sachin were living separately for 18 months now.
Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff filed for divorce on December 20, 2017. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Juhi was quoted as saying earlier, “We have sought divorce by mutual consent and our daughter Samaira’s custody is going to be with me. I was very clear right from the start that I will be her sole custodian. Our marriage didn’t work from the beginning. Incompatibility drew us apart. We could never be on the same page. Our backgrounds, mindset, outlook and expectations from life were completely different. We tried our best, but our differences were irrevocable. I have not asked for any alimony because I am capable of taking care of myself. I just told Sachin to contribute towards child support so that we can secure Samairra’s future; as parents, it’s our collective responsibility”.
On Rajeev Khandelwal's controversial chat show Juzzbaat, she opened up about her divorce and shared, “I knew Sachin before our marriage but there was no courtship period as such. He expressed his feelings and we got married immediately after that. I was not fully convinced personally but his love was the biggest driving force. I thought that I will fall in love with him but I still don’t know if I can label it as a love marriage”. She further added, “After few years of our marriage, our relationship hit rock bottom. It was difficult for me to accept that it’s not working out and I was just struggling to keep it going. Finally, I decided that it was best for both of us to separate and Aashka Goradia helped me and stood by my side”. On the same chat show, she also revealed that on a couple reality show where both Juhi and Sachin had participated, she was portrayed as a ‘vamp’ while Sachin was portrayed as a ‘bechara’. She revealed, “The show that I did was for couples and I had participated with my ex-husband Sachin Shroff. The footage was edited in a completely shocking manner almost as if to change the entire meaning of what was actually happening. I was shown in a negative light to break my otherwise holier-than-thou bahu image, while Sachin was portrayed as a 'bechara'. I was shocked when I came to know that they made me look like a vamp on-screen. It was not a pleasant experience at all”.
Juhi and Sachin have participated on reality shows namely - Aajaa Mahi Vay, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Maa Exchange and Star Vivaah. Talking about their daughter Samairra, Sachin once stated in an interview, “I have always seen to it that his bond with Samairra is never compromised.
