Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta are proud co-owners of the popular IPL team franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) along with Shah Rukh Khan. They are often spotted together in stadiums, cheering for their team while watching the match with utmost excitement. SRK and Juhi are best friends, and their camaraderie proves that they behave like any other BFFs.
In a recent interview at an event, Juhi Chawla opened up about watching IPL matches with Shah Rukh Khan and revealed that it is not the best idea. Sharing the reason behind it, the actress mentioned that when their team is not performing well, SRK vents out his anger at her and added that they are not the best people to watch the match with. In Juhi's words:
“It is not good to watch a match with him because when our team is not performing well, he vents out his anger at me. I tell him to tell that to the team and not me. So we are not the best people to watch the match with. I think the same goes for a lot of owners. They all can be seen sweating while their teams play.”

Speaking along the same lines, Juhi said that they get highly tense when their team plays during IPL. Calling it an exciting experience, the actress shared that they all are in front of their television sets. In her words:
“When our team plays, it is interesting to watch them and we all are highly tense. IPL is always exciting. We all are in front of our television sets.”
While Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan have remained best friends for decades and even co-starred in many films, the duo became family after their partnership in IPL. However, back in 2022, Juhi shared a beautiful picture of her daughter, Jahnavi along with SRK’s kids, Aryan and Suhana, as the trio stepped into their star parent’s footsteps. Seeing Jahnavi, Aryan and Suhana attending the auction of players in IPL 2022 made Juhi super proud.

On May 19, 2023, Juhi Chawla took to her Twitter handle and shared the good news that her daughter, Jahnavi Mehta, has graduated. She dropped a picture of Jahnavi from the felicitation ceremony and penned, “#columbiaclass2023”. However, Juhi's KKR co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan, also couldn’t hold his excitement after hearing the news and showered love on his good friend’s daughter. Reacting to Juhi’s tweet, SRK wrote:
“This is so awesome. Can’t wait for her to get back and celebrate with her. And a feeling of extreme pride. Love u Jaanz.”
