Among the very little information available about Josh is that he was married twice. The actor tied the knot for the first time with Candice Ann Ross in 2009. The duo remained bound in a spousal relationship for six years before mutually parting ways in 2015. The specific timeline of their relationship or their cause of split is not publicly known.
A few years after his divorce, Josh Grisetti found love once again. He walked down the aisle with Mackenzie Grisetti (maiden name Perpich) in February 2020 and stayed with her until his death in July 2026. Official confirmation of the cause of the actor's death is still awaited. In a post on social media, Rob dropped an emotional note about the actor, although it was not mentioned what pushed the actor to take the drastic step of taking his own life.
In the post, Rob recalled working on set with Josh Grisetti, who played his brother, and watching him inspire millions of students at his college. He also shared that he was the best man at Josh's wedding, and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the late Broadway star's family. Rob McClure stated:
"I'm not ready to even attempt to understand. My heart is with his wife and family as they try to deal with the reality of this. Some of my all-time favorite memories were by this man's side, playing his brother onstage for years, watching him inspire students while transforming the Musical Theatre program at Cal State Fullerton …and having the honor of being the Best Man at his wedding."
