Jennifer Lopez's Friends Feel Actress After Divorce From Ben Affleck Should Date Brett, 'A Chance'

Jennifer Lopez is not looking for love after divorcing actor, Ben Affleck. However, fans are stunned by her chemistry with Office Romance actor, Brett Goldstein. However, apart from Jennifer's fans, it is also her set of friends who feel that she and Brett will make a good pair. They think that Jennifer needed to think about Brett. Jennifer Lopez has strictly denied dating Brett, but her friends feel they are a match made in heaven.

The insider also shared that Jennifer is not looking for love at the moment, as she is in a really good place and has pretty much sworn off dating for the time being. The actress is enjoying her time being single and is focusing on herself. Jennifer Lopez may be single for a very long time, but her spark with Brett Goldstein has not gone unnoticed. A source close to them told US Weekly that Jennifer and Brett have great chemistry, which made working together on set easy and enjoyable. The source shared that Jennifer's friends feel she needed to give Brett a chance and shared:

"It was instant chemistry from their first call about the project. She thinks he’s incredibly charming, talented and just a really good guy. Jen’s friends joke with her that she should give him a chance because they think he’d be a great match for her."

When Ben Affleck clarified why he and Jennifer Lopez separated

It was in 2025 when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got divorced. The actor sat down for an interview with GQ and revealed that people tend to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. However, the root cause is that the truth is much more quotidian than people would probably believe or find interesting. He revealed that their divorce was not scandalous and said:

"Yeah, there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue. The truth is, when you talk to somebody, ‘Hey, what happened?’ Well, there is no: ‘This is what happened.’ It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all sort of normally do. And as you get older, this is true for me, I assume it’s true for most people, there is no ‘So-and-so did this’ or ‘This was the big event."

When Ben Affleck shared that he was more private than Jennifer Lopez

 Ben Affleck revealed that his private life with Jennifer looked like both were undergoing a couple therapy sessions. He shared that just like a couple goes for a therapy session, due to their issues, he too had the same and was at his vulnerable point. Ben revealed that he did not want to share things, but part of him wanted to participate, and he wanted to do so honestly. Ben shared that he liked to be private and had said:

"Like I mentioned to you before, there are a lot of people who I think have handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have, Jennifer among them. My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers. As happens in relationships, you don’t always have the same attitude towards these things. And so I thought, Oh, this is interesting because how do you reconcile that? Because exactly what you said is true."

Ben further shared that he always loved and supported Jennifer. He believed in her and always wanted people to kind of see that. Ben further gave a beautiful quote that said, "You don’t marry a ship captain and then say, ‘Well, I don’t like going out in the water. ‘"You’ve got to own what you knew going into any relationship."
