Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been dominating all the headlines since it got premiered on June 17, 2023. Recently, the show took the next level of excitement with the entry of the wild card contestant, Elvish Yadav. For the unversed, Elvish rules the world of YouTube with his two channels named Elvish Yadav, and Elvish Yadav Vlogs that have millions of subscribers. However, recently, his fans are going gaga as he is assigned a task to be the director of the house, where his co-contestants have to follow what he orders. However, it was Jiya Shankar's misdeed that left Elvish's fans upset.
In the recent episode, the newly assigned director of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav asked his co-contestant, Jiya Shankar to bring him a glass of water. However, it was Jiya who mixed hand soap into the water, and Elvish unconsciously gulped it down. It was Abhishek Malhan, who then raised an alert about the same and after others smelled the water, they got to know that it was spiked.

After this, Elvish confronted Jiya Shankar. In her defence, Jiya said that the water was contaminated and also smelled like soap, yet Elvish drank it. She mentioned that Elvish could have been careful about the same. Such an incident left other contestants of the house shocked. However, it was Avinash Sachdev who was seen supporting Jiya.
As soon as Jiya made Elvish drink the soap-mixed water, the latter's fans burst out in anger. Sharing the clip of Avinash and Jiya laughing about the incident, one user penned: "Inhumanity at its worst! These cheap people are laughing after seeing Elvish Yadav drinking water mixed with soap." Another user commented, "Jiya gave soap water to Elvish to drink. Such shameless work she did."

Earlier, in an episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Bebika Dhruve asked Aashika Bhatia how she and Elvish know each other, and the actress shared that they have a controversial history. The actress mentioned that Elvish once roasted her on his YouTube channel and even fat-shamed her. When Bebika asked the same to Elvish, he said that he had apologised to Aashika. However, Aashika mentioned she never received any such video of him apologising to her. As a response, Elvish added that he is sorry for the body shame and not for the roast.
For the unversed, after Bigg Boss OTT 2 got an extension of two weeks, Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav entered the house as wild-card contestants. As of now, the contestants of BB OTT 2 are Bebika Dhruve, Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar, Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, Avinash Sachdev, and Jad Hadid.
