Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, one of the most popular actresses, became a household name for her power-packed performance in the popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. For the unversed, Jennifer used to play the role of 'Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi' in the hit sitcom. For the last few days, the actress has continuously been hitting the headlines as she made some shocking revelations about TMKOC producer, Asit Kumarr Modi. And again, Jennifer sat down for an interview and opened up about the toxic atmosphere on the sets of TMKOC.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal opened up about the toxic atmosphere on the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah set. The actress stated that the production team never washed clothes, and they had to wear outfits for 20 days. The actress mentioned that they had to wash their own clothes. Jennifer also shared that they got scolded on the set if they used to ask for water, more than what was available. Jennifer revealed that on the 9 pm shift if they even asked for a packet of biscuits, the team did not provide it. Elaborating more on the same, Jennifer mentioned:
"The production team would not wash our clothes, and we had to wear outfits for 20 days. The clothes would even stink badly. There were times when we washed our clothes ourselves, and only some selective people had their clothes washed by the team. We even had to beg for the most basic necessities like water. There were only a few bottles of water available, and we were scolded if we ever asked for more. A packet of biscuits used to be a big deal for us; forget about dinner. In the 9 pm shift, if we asked for biscuits, they wouldn't even provide them.”

Further in the interview, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared that on the sets of TMKOC, there were no precautionary measures, even during the time of COVID-19. The actress mentioned that the sets were sanitised only once during the pandemic. She also revealed that their vans used to be filled with cockroaches, while the male leads used to have luxurious vans. Talking about the same, Jennifer mentioned:
"Throughout the show, I wore my own jewellery, shoes ke paise bhi 2-3 saal pehle se dena shuru karte the and earlier we used to get old ripped shoes which could not be worn. The child artists were never given outfits by the production. They did even care about covid as there were no precautionary measures taken and even the sets were sanitised only once during the pandemic, the make-up artists used to wear safety suits only for the sake of it while our vans were filled with cockroaches while the male leads used to have luxurious vans. We were told that we are just fillers and the production is doing a favour by giving us rooms with ACs.”
Earlier in an interview with India Forums, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared how her case against the TMKOC team isn't going anywhere. The actress mentioned that police have been harassing her constantly by asking her to transcribe audio proofs, which made her fall sick. Jennifer also mentioned that police have been hinting to her to take back the case very subtly, and as she isn't listening, they are harassing her. Talking about the same, Jennifer mentioned that her FIR was not even filed completely. And she has been receiving such behaviour on Asit Modi's influence.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Jenniffer Misrty Bansiwal made some shocking revelations against the show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi. The actress shared that during their stay in Singapore, Asit Kumarr Modi invited the actress to his room. The actress mentioned that the producer even expressed his desire to kiss her. Jennifer shared:
"Tumhari room partner toh chali jaati hai, tum mere room mein aa jaya karo, whiskey peete hain. Tumhare honth bahut sundar lag rahe hain, pakadkar kiss kar loon. Tum akele room mein kya karti ho? Mere room mein aa jao."
