The insider shared that the pair kept things professional on set, but their chemistry was undeniable. The source mentioned that the duo kept things low-key and flirted here and there, and their strong connection was quite prominent. The insider who saw the pair getting very cosy at the wrap party. The source was quoted as saying:

"They kept things professional on set while filming, but their chemistry was undeniable. They tried to keep things low-key during the months while filming but flirted here and there on set, and they definitely had a strong connection."

According to the source, Jennifer and Brett enjoyed a night out together in early 2025 when the pair attended the Broadway play Oh, Mary! in New York City. The insider shared that Jennifer and Brett briefly dated. However, their romantic relationship eventually lost momentum once the filming of Office Romance wrapped. The source mentioned that although the duo’s relationship lost momentum, they remain on good terms. The insider was quoted as saying:

"Once filming wrapped, they were free to take things further and dated for quite some time. They liked spending time together and Brett made her happy. But things just sort of fizzled out between them since last year. There’s no bad blood but it just kind of came to a lull. They have a good friendship but in terms of romantic chemistry, that ship has sort of sailed."
