Jaya Bachchan is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. Married to Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya is a proud mommy to their children, Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. More than her acting prowess, Jaya is well known for her tiffs with the paps. Recently, she was seen behaving rudely with Sonali Bendre and got trolled for the same.
On January 13, 2024, Jaya Bachchan was spotted arriving at Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's grand reception party at the NMACC in Mumbai. In one of the videos going viral on the internet, Jaya was seen posing for the paps with her daughter, Shweta Bachchan. She donned a multi-hued ensemble with a blue base and paired it with rosy pink lipstick and dainty earrings. On the other hand, Shweta opted for a kaftan dress paired with subtle makeup, including a bindi and nude lipstick. However, the mother-daughter duo made weird faces as Sonali Bendre joined them.

Sonali was dressed up in a beige-hued co-ord set teamed with a statement necklace and matching earrings. She kept her look subtle and opted for a wavy open hairstyle. The actress radiated her beautiful smile for the lens and stole the show. However, soon, Jaya Bachchan walked away from the frame and stood at a distance from Sonali. Shweta, who already looked uncomfortable with Sonali, followed her mother.
Now that the video has surfaced on Reddit, netizens have expressed their views on the same. While some slammed Jaya and Shweta for their weird behaviour towards Sonali, others lauded the latter's beauty. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, "Wth was that???? What did Sonali do to deserve this. Absolutely disrespectful. No matter how much of a senior you are, everyone deserves to be treated with respect." Another penned, "Why did she do that? That was rude."

During the screening of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Jaya Bachchan was accompanied by her son, Abhishek Bachchan and her daughter, Shweta Bachchan for the event. However, it was her heated interaction with the paps that grabbed the attention. She warned the shutterbugs not to shout and said:
"I am not deaf, aaram se baat karo."
